Don't think can view on the speedfan...
Not the bios, but on the power management policy.. p/s I wonder why they won't do the edge-to-edge screen on 3830TG like what they did to Acer 3935, since its glossy already, might as well go all the way down  |

Or maybe can use it to install latest Intel driver?
 Click the battery icon, "more power options", "change plans settings", "change advanced power settings", "processor power management", "system cooling policy".. From Windows description, the passive will reduce CPU speed first before increasing the fan speed, while Active will increase the fan speed before decreasing CPU speed... 1.) The 4820TG has couple revision, from i5 430M->i5 450M->i5 460M->i5 480M (current), 3820TG only i3 380M
2.) Yours should be the latest.. 3.) Buy the ram and slot it in? 4.) Nope.. BatteryCare/BatteryBar display more detailed info for the battery... |

Since the Acer only utilizes dual core, it will only support up to 1066MHz RAM, and since its Double Data Rate (DDR), its will actually run at 533MHz x 2 = 1066MHz..
So, if you buy 1333MHz RAM, it will downclock itself and run at 1066MHz, but if the price is same with 1066MHz, better get the 1333MHz... |
