i thought merc-SLK... doh.gif the Final Fantasy XIV is online MMORPG, so, no crack as far as i know. it is a subscription based MMORPG like World of Warcraft. dun think there is private server as well since the game is kind of new. anyway, i heard some pretty lousy rating for this game... some even say it spoil the name of Final Fantasy... so i wont bother too much...

thanks god its friday! long lunch break, i m going out lunch... may be will hang out lowyat... brows.gif

Here is something BIG to keep you busy!

Dragon Age 2

I play Dragon Age 1 before, it's a good game. The sequence should be even better! It is launching on 8 March 2011! Just a few days from now! In fact, I stop playing game since last week, am saving it for this baby... brows.gif some crazy gaming session is about to begin!

If you cant wait, go try the demo.

guys.....I see from advertisements, billboards and etc, Acer says that the timeline series can last up to 9 or 10 hours and yada yada. Is it really true that the timeline series has a bigger battery than normal laptops?

Yup, normal laptops around 40Wh-44Wh, TimelineX has 66Wh for 6-cell and 99Wh for 9-cell...

how to check....let's say seller A and seller B is selling 4820TG. how to know whether it's 6 or 9 cell?

difference as in, what sets the timeline series apart from the normal laptops?

are there any other brands that offer something of similar specs, price and batt life?

Is there any software I can view my CPU / GPU temperature?
Is there any software I can see the FPS of my games?

P/S : Currently super satisfied with the heat management. The fan is as silent as a grave. Sui~~

As for the sound system, it's consider quite loud for me. It's still acceptable when it's turn to max.

As for the gaming, I will give it 10/10 for a lappy that's 13.3! The GPU is superb! Maybe because I seldom play high specs game~~~ However, I kinda towards performance, not quality, so jagged edge might be seen.

As for the battery life, I don't know if I look wrong, I saw 11hr 16mins at 98% battery. That's my best time ba!

This is a short review from me ba~ [3820TG user]
