My wife just got discharged yesterday. Below are the damage for reference:

Hospital : Sunway Medical Velocity
Doctor : Dr Eee Ching Woo
Delivery method : Lower caesar
Room type : Single bedded room
Total bill for mother : $7000
Total bill for baby : $1000

I took their planned caesar package which is having 30% discount at this moment. Overall very satisfied with everything smile.gif

My wife just delivered our 1st baby boy on last Friday morning.

Hospital: Hospital Selayang (FPP)
Doctor: Dr. Yu
Total Charge: Normal delivery : RM2043.30 (2D1N in a 2 bedded room)

Fortunately we are the only one occupied that 2 bedded room.

RM4500 sounds too expensive for a normal delivery at Selayang FPP. Got use epidural and other stuffs?

My wife's due in this May. Do you get any news that Selayang FPP will stop providing FPP service?

If you were to choose Dr Chuah as your gynae, I'd suggest you to book your wife's check up appointment asap. Last I've checked, he's full till end of May. If you're unable to get on the appointment list, you'd have to walk-in and wait till he finishes that day's appointment.
Just ran through my invoice, the highest charge was the process of delivering the baby, about 2.5k. Hope that helps.

I think it's best you walk into SMCV and talk to the staff to understand further what is included and what is not.

How does the walk in system works? Cos he has appointments booked in all day. Does it mean I walk in at 8am and only got to see Dr at 5PM?
