FPP Putrajaya cost effective. ..wife delivered 2nd child there last April. ...cost 3.5k for 3 nights stay + caesar...thats a quarter what we paid for our 1st one at Ramsay (SJMC) 15.XX K...caesar also
But drawback is u need to take care of ur own baby after deliver for Putrajaya....husband/relative/maid support during stay thr is necessary .....n waiting period uf need 1 or 2 bedded suite....whr hubby/relative can overnight
Also caesar operation for Fpp only evening time as morning n noon reserved for public n emergency case.....tats all i remember after 2 months ....hehe

Hi Dixon, what's the criteria to register for FPP Putrajaya? I understand that we can only made appointment after we have a "buku merah" from Klink Kesihatan? Can we choose to follow up everything at Putrajaya Hospital from beginning of 2months pregnancy until delivery?

similar experience, you should have your buku merah from KK. for my wife at Selayang FPP, they only start seeing you from 7th month pregnant onwards & on monthly basis as the doctors are too busy to see you on weekly / every 2 weeks. I booked her in when she was 2 or 3 months pregnant.

for convenience we went to private clinic for regular check up, kind of stop KK too after 2 or 3 visits as it makes my wife very tired and stressful. They can be suspicious with very little thing (can be good or bad) but for me it is too stressful for my wife so i told KK we will go to private clinic. If you have problem (sugar level, etc) the KK expect you to come back like daily basis and you have to queue / wait every day. quite mad IMHO and put on so much stress.

My wife sugar lvl was a little high towards the end and private doctors were very assuring, even Selayang FPP doctor said it is common to be a little high and the normal urine test may not be 100% unless you do the actual full test which require fasting. The doctors says it is not a worry and just take care of your sugar intake but the KK nurses want to check everything and present the case as if it is damn dangerous.

Thanks for your advice. I know that visiting KK will be very stressful therefore my intention is to get the Buku Merah from KK first and to follow up at normal private clinic.
