QUOTE(cfyong2020 @ Jul 29 2019, 08:54 AM) FPP Putrajaya July 2019 Based on the thread discussion here seems like Putrajaya FPP also cannot book next year due to it being full? So only choice is walk in? Hospital Putrajaya under Dr. Hazim 1st class ward/room (double bed) - 3D2N C-sec comment: luckily we are FPP patient, during the registration i do see a lot of the pregnant lady after checkup if its not too urgent they will refer her to another hospital to deliver the baby. Nurses are very patient to explain and guide me & my wife. we manage meet Dr. Hazim 2 times during monthly checkup, he is extremely experienced but due to he is the head of O&G department. he always very busy, a lot of the mother choose him as specialist actually have never meet him before. The other specialists are very experienced & nice as well. Dr. Sapie helped my wife do the emergency c-sec due to baby poop in the tummy while the vagina only opened 3cm. Dr did explain the situation clearly let us choose between can wait another 4 hours to observe since the baby heartbeat is still strong or do emergency c-sec. overall we have a very good experience. really thanks to all the nurses and doctor who involved. total RM3360 My wife's mother had complications delivering her due to heart problems and passed out whilst delivering with the infant head halfway out.. they had to call the doctor from the nearest town to come and do emergency caesarean.. it was near death experience for both mom and daughter.. hence now my wife is also insistent for cesarean to avoid risk to life of both mom and baby... Putrajaya can do FPP and cesarian? |

Just to share, since as you all know FPP got cancelled so I walked in when while starting labor, wife admitted to ward in the morning, delivered in the evening and discharged the next day.. natural birth... total cost less than rm700
Not sure if government hospital is still free for all or they start charging for bed and operations, but that's what they charged me. |

For me I still walk in to Putrajaya hospital since they have my pink book details on record. The nurse at Putrajaya did call me to inform of the temporary suspension of FPP though. |

QUOTE(fookie @ Apr 29 2020, 08:22 PM) My wife just gave birth 2 weeks ago in SMCV. Natural birth + epidural + vacuum + 3 nights stay. Total damage 7k+. 12k less 30% is 8.4k which is 3.6k discount. Just referring to Sunway's own mention that savings are 3-6k, it would mean that the original price is 10k-20k. I don't really have an opinion but just sharing the maths.. Before this one of the staff there mentioned to us if no complication etc, planned c-sec should cost around 12k inclusive of 2 nights stay. so 12k - 30% should be about RM8k or so. Midnight or pre-dawn should have extra charges. Not too sure how much are the extra charges. |

QUOTE(Seng89 @ May 6 2020, 09:44 PM) Good to hear this. Do you know possible to let family stat overnight just in case my wife required to stay overnight... ? Nope. For now husband's are not allowed into the ward at all. Even during normal times, only the limited executive ward allowed the husband to stay together in the room. All other rooms do not allow it. |
