Here some tips I've been searching for

If you felt your browser is sluggish when surfing heavy websites like Engadget, here is what you need to do

1. Open the Nokia stock browser
2. Go to Options and select Settings
3. Then go to General and disable Java/ECMA script
4. Go back and surf the websites like Engadget (or other heavy websites), check any differences

This is due to JavaScript unable to process flash, and other features of the web perfectly. You turn these off, you can browser with ease.

What would be the best settings for GPS, as for me I left Internal GPS and Network based ticked, whereas the others left untick.

How long do you guyz get gps locked the position?

I'm using garmin, and it takes around 1 min.

If network based is turn on it will drain your credit even more than a-gps

Only tick Integrated and WIFI/Network for free GPS

I'm using Garmin v5.05 for N8 as 5.06 is unable to be opened after installing.

What version of Garmin are you guys using? Is Papago available for N8?

Theoretically speaking most of the symbian ^1 apps/games are supported except a few due to some compatible issue.

that's the problem with nokia..they only come up with phone specific FW updates, unlike apple and android which comes out with OS specific updates..
