view this on ur N8.. zoom it in to see clearer picture.. and u shouldn't see any banding in ur screen if the screen are 24bits or higher...

Not removable but not accessible without TORX screwdriver. It's secured by a latch with 2 torx screws. So not really swappable while on road blush.gif

then it is not the display problem..

it can be the video encoding problem.. can be the video decoding problem..

@ BuFung,

Hahaha... most people wont notice it at all. Yes, Samsung Pentile Matrix based AMOLED suffers some discoloration, its not banding, but gradient. Its like the light grey will look slighly pinkish (most of the time). Some are more apparent while some are less apparent.

But thats normal because of the unusual pixel arrangement... like I said previously, flaw by design...

i'm referring to the photos. either shutter speed too long or your hand shaking.

and gosh, the indoor shots got quite high amount of noises.

no, it's because it's almost 100% size u are seeing...
and also, it's due to the low shutter speed...
try download it and take a look when it's resized, look way better...plus, i recall nokia mention they put minimal processing on the pictures, so that user can still have more space to do some post processing if they want to
