Factors effecting the price is MANUFACTURING COST>..which is cheaper in china and as you said the demand and competition is very low here..so they cannot afford to supply finnish phone costing 530euros in malaysian market ...so low price obviously you will not get the best quality...
or are you saying that people paying 530 euros are getting same quality are people who pay 1690Rm get?? they nokia aint that stupid..

Clareen sold me my N900.She gave me the best price after I asked several shops.Even gave me free screen protector for the delivery delay

There are good android phone out there. that optimized out of the box. but didn't meet my preferences based on the design. But realized now, software support is important. Alot of android user rely on custom ROM, custom FIRMWARE to fix the bug, fix the lag, because android phone manufacturer is abit lazy fixing the bug and thats include HTC.

Some of them are ok with custom firmware but some manufacture like Motorola tries everything to block custom firmware.
Harder to apply custom software fix.

i think the parts and components for the phone the same except for assembly cost, labor cost in China less than in europe these add up to the total cost i think.

You have your point same to i, i believe my point is correct too. This is malaysia, Malaysia standard living is not as high as yours which is from europe and afford to buy in N8 which cost EURO 530, for malaysia reason why Nokia set their price in this lower price because of Nokia want to gain market share from their competitor such as HTC, Sony Ericsson, Samsung which famous in using Android OS, Apple iPhone, and Blackberry Phones. Besides that they want to control AP set which these set is imported from oversea and wholesale by Local distributor. I don't agree that those N8 manufacture in euro is better quality than those produce in Asia.

Marketing tactic. This might be why Nokia high ends are now a lot cheaper than in the past, when Nseries was still new.

Okay.Lets's say N9 going to be launched next month as the highest end phone from Nokia,how much the price you think it'll be?

I'm having problem when taking photos. The flash blinks around 2 seconds earlier before the photo is captured. I'm not sure wether it is defect product or need some software adjustments.
Appreciate some reply.

I have tried again, and its still the same

This time, I tried to take photos in dark place to test wether the flash is in order. Yes, it produce good bright image. But still the flash like blinks 1 - 1.5sec earlier.

u take focus, then u click to capture then it capture with flash right?

or u take focus, it flash then u click to capture?
