aiyah... the fruit phone is made in china and got news about the phone being exploded and everything... and still ppl are craving for it...

I rather buy & give them piece of my mind.
If you buy an item it's feels like you care about the item more.You'll ask for best possible service for it.
But if you got the product for free somewhere in your mind you'll think that "this is a free product so I don't mind the problems".

very frank i can explain on this. Europe salary higher or China salary higher? They sell according their cost. If expenses higher in term of worker salary sure the price more expenses. Imagine if manufacture in europe and import to malaysia compare manufacture in china and import to malaysia which shipping fees or transportation fees cheaper? reason why europe country have its own manufacture one of the reason is because of the transportation fees. If you notice Nokia Original set in Malaysia most of the phone is assembly in china, india and korea because these is asia countries so Asia have their own manufacture and Same to europe countries.

I believe for phone that manufacture in europe also will have defect units. its fair enough when 100 units phone 1 of the phone havee problem nothing is perfect i would said. Human is not robots human will do mistake once a while.

actually I dun understand why Malaysia selling N8 at such low price when everone knows very well Malaysia tax is quite high

That is so not true its absolutely wrong, Their are always restriction about the higher price and nokia maintain that. And about the salary stuffs that is just a things which usually explaine for immatures, price of product does not depend on salary their are lot more factors and this is just the least concern .

My X6 also got problem...the mainboard need to change...and N97 also...the battery that I got when bought less than 1 day fininsh without any use...then they replace new one...lol...E75...use like 1 week plus suddenly the phone switch on keep flashing(though it's just FW problem)...haih all also give me issues in various ways...then E65 fw buggy like siao

Hahaha , well you are right nothing is perfect but the service we get in european market is far better.. they are charging high on other hand they are providing quality too

First of all. For a marketer to set a price for a product to a country they're base on the demand, their competitor price and their cost price. I believe cost is effect the price set up.
