I did it on 11/10 few days earlier before the soft launch & paid RM1000 for the booking fee. The SA booked a "perdana" for me 1st then convert to Inspira on the 14/10 soft launch. SA told me they say estimate 1.5 months to give them some breathing space but could be earlier. Only can wait and see.

i'd follow my dad this morning to met this proton officer. have a chit chat on inspira. havent ask my dad what this guy position since my dad have to go straight to attend the cimb golf, but this officer is confirm credible.
sorry to say guys, but the actual cbu is only 200 units, straight from mistu, no change. after that only proton take the parts and fix with lotus handling(suspension) which is actually an upgrade.
but the officer advise to wait a bit, not to buy the first batch(the batch after 200) because its kinda like a testing batch. they got new machines to use to fix the parts and the parts they take is 'cukup-cukup' makan, so if i.e they wrongly weld it, they have to reuse it, cant change with new parts.

If those CBU 200 units are to be for the first batch, chances are those will be given to VIPs, not us.

I also asked about perdana. and yes, perdana will stop production. either they will give gov officer to use inspira or they will give a new model(which is still in development, didnt ask more though) rumors by my dad, gov will give 250k to choose any car u like but the price is include maintenance cost. but thats another story

Who will know which is 1st batch, 2nd batch, 3rd batch & so on? Unless Proton specifically specify that only we can tell the difference which I doubt they will. Or else any point of talking about it?

I need to change my 8 year old waja too. They seriously think we are buying because we believed the CBU rumors and jumping in without much thought.

Same here. Proton's CEO had been quoted to have said no CBU. Only that my waja was 9 years old. 'Was' because it was sold last month. Needed a replacement soon enough.

Inspira came at the right time & I've been following the news since 2009. i admire Forte too but its a korean car. Worry about spare parts and resale value later. Inspira became the obvious choice for me as I want a 2.0 car below 100k.

Haha. So true Sarguna. I love my Waja too but it's time to upgrade. Just not too happy that I've been offered a very low price for my 1.6 M 2004 model.
