If i have 2 credit cards from the EON bank, the bonus point Rm1 = 1 point will be combined or seperate points for each card.

QUOTE(chemistry @ Nov 23 2010, 09:19 PM) The bank did provide several solutions to me. I have been using EON credit card since September 2010, still a newbie.Either spend RM2k in 2 months' time OR subscribe to one Autopay service will do. At that time it was impossible for me to fulfill either one condition. Talking about cancellation of Shell card recently, the bank did not even advise/persuade me, straight away proceed October bill - RM5,000 ++ November bill - RM 630 ++ December bill - haven't come out yet, roughly RM12, 000++ i make payment straight away before the statement even out... wonder can request for increasement of credit limit or not? or must wait for 6 months? QUOTE(chemistry @ Nov 23 2010, 09:35 PM) My credit limit is Rm4500 ...Added on November 23, 2010, 10:31 pm QUOTE(hye @ Nov 23 2010, 09:37 PM) At least wait for 6 months - 1 year. rush because i need to pay and swipe, pay and swipe, it's so inconvenience over limit Why the rush .. ? And do understand an increase of your CL will also increase your "unsecured loans facility" for your credit profile. This post has been edited by persistence85: Nov 23 2010, 10:32 PM |

QUOTE(erry- @ Nov 24 2010, 05:48 PM) apply with another bank. i said 'new' bank. u need to apply like dont have credit card before, but just bring ur eon credit card statement (latest 3 months better) as supporting docs to ur payslips and bank statements. thats a good idea if i didnt bring my EON credit card statement, the "new" bank can't able to check out how much per month i use and my payment whether is punctual or not? |

QUOTE(persistence85 @ Nov 24 2010, 05:58 PM) thats a good idea but applying another card at the same bank , thus the same bank can check how much u use per month right? and possibility to increase ur credit limit? if i didnt bring my EON credit card statement, the "new" bank can't able to check out how much per month i use and my payment whether is punctual or not? and moreover, same bank gets easier approval? |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Nov 25 2010, 10:21 AM) If i am not mistaken, you cannot use a secured credit card to apply for another credit card. Hmm, can't use a secured/fixed deposit pledge credit card to apply for a another credit card even the card is more than a year and show good records? You don't need to give your credit card statement. Just a photocopy of the card will do. However, most banks would require you to use it for more than 1 year before you can use your existing as a reference in applying for a new credit card from another bank. Anyone in banking industry can confirm this? |

QUOTE(hye @ Nov 26 2010, 11:23 AM) You will be charged interest on top whatever that is not paid. So long you meet the indicative minimum payment, you are not into trouble. (See the "Minimum Payment" amount in your statement) lol @ bank's lawyer However do note that sometimes the installment plan is treated as a minimum commitment to pay. If you don't meet this minimum every month, the bank is considering you in default of payment every month. Get ready for a barrage of calls from the bank and if things get worse, a call from the bank's lawyers to see you. |

QUOTE(kanethesun @ Nov 26 2010, 01:30 PM) try apply and see the outcome? September 2010 to November 2010 , spend around RM 23k ++but I find that EON Bank is quite ... err, not generous I would say I spent more than 12k from Oct 09 to Sept 10, they only upgrade my CL from RM3,000 to RM4,000 or maybe I am not big spender for them Oh , this month i exceeding my credit limit, used for almost Rm16, 000++ , my Credit Limit only 4.5k. I need to pay and swipe, pay and swipe 3 months card only. proceed to EON bank branch and apply for increasement of credit limit and upgrade to gold card, dunno will get approved or not This post has been edited by persistence85: Nov 26 2010, 01:38 PM |
