Just normally what you guys are ranting in LYN. The difference is I show my dissatisfaction of the rejection formally. I also demand to know the reason of rejection if the appeal is not approve bcoz as far as im concern i do not have any problem with any bank whatsoever

25th Nov 2010 - Got my DA CC approved
6th Dec 2010 - Received my card (the letter is dated 25th Nov 2010), cause they are using normal post, so it takes almost to weeks to reach East Msia

Well done CIMB DA! Their credit limt is really more generous, about 2.6X my salary while my HSBC only give me 1.6X my salary.

one question, did anyone were paranoids enough to scratch out or stick a small sticker on the CVV number? I saw one of costumer at a major department store  today does that when the cashier flip over to read his signature.

mine one, is special, only middle number is missing..    maybe, the other two is gone soon but the cashier still can see the CVV number because the number is engraved not printed like my amex' cvv number

anyway, i thinking to follow the good chap who shown me that way to prevent the cashier to remember the CVV.

AMEX CVV is not useful. They'll use the 4-digit in the front. I didn't cover that.

Because the online payment processor usually needs the front 4-digit printed on the top of your 15-digit AMEX card number instead of the CVV number at the back.
I paid once only to book a hotel. The online payment processor is RBS.

exactly, afaik, most online payment site based in malaysia hardly accept amex if i'm not mistaken

It's just not applicable to "Principal Classic / Titanium / Preferred World MasterCard / Visa Infinite".

If your Gold card is free-for-life, better check out with CS whether this Plat also FFL.

Citibank does selectively offer FFL cards to existing members. Usually the offer is made through phone conversation.

i swipe rm4.60 at esso to buy nasi ayam
