No need to wait 6 month. My first application to OCBC also being rejected. My salary is above the requirement. So I write official letter to OCBC to appeal. Now approved already thumbup.gif

Just normally what you guys are ranting in LYN. The difference is I show my dissatisfaction of the rejection formally. I also demand to know the reason of rejection if the appeal is not approve bcoz as far as im concern i do not have any problem with any bank whatsoever

Thanks for sharing smile.gif

19th Nov 2010 - Online application for CIMB DA Plat CC to mktgda@cimb.com
A couple of days later, CIMB DA CS called me for some verification
25th Nov 2010 - Got my DA CC approved
6th Dec 2010 - Received my card (the letter is dated 25th Nov 2010), cause they are using normal post, so it takes almost to weeks to reach East Msia

Well done CIMB DA! Their credit limt is really more generous, about 2.6X my salary while my HSBC only give me 1.6X my salary.
*
CIMB is well-known generous for their credit limit given.. how much is your CL? thumbup.gif

Because the online payment processor usually needs the front 4-digit printed on the top of your 15-digit AMEX card number instead of the CVV number at the back.
I paid once only to book a hotel. The online payment processor is RBS.

Thanks for explaining wink.gif

Do Telekom Malaysia and Sesco fall into government category or not?

I am entitled with bonus point for paying my SESCO bill and Telekom Malaysia bill with my credit card... I thought there is no point since these two utilities fall under government category?

If your Gold card is free-for-life, better check out with CS whether this Plat also FFL.

Citibank does selectively offer FFL cards to existing members. Usually the offer is made through phone conversation.
