QUOTE(rockefeller @ Oct 17 2010, 11:59 PM) I was in Pavilion KL today to do some shopping and I saw at least ten people paying for their purchases with either CIMB Visa Infinite or World Mastercard. Somehow, it's like a common sight that doesn't make both cards look exclusive anymore! Soon black will be the new platinum just like how platinum is the new gold! Mind you that also means having a minimum CL of 100k is so common these days! Those you see in Pavilion is common as Pavilion/KLCC caters for the high-class shoppers ;-).... if we see lots those VI or WMC at lower-class than Pavilion/KLCC shopping area, then it's easy to get VI/WMC. rockefeller: Are you checking them out ;-) |

All these are due to lousy training by the Managers of GSC.
The same goes for those cashier counters at Tesco/Giant/.. which allow anyone to queue at their express counter. |

QUOTE(ashkamz @ Oct 19 2010, 05:55 AM) There's few situation. If not mistaken, I started my CIMClicks account with my CC first. Subsequently, my existing CA/SA was added (by the system, not my request) to the list of accounts.1. You have only credit card with CIMB You can log in to Clicks only to view statement 2. You have Clicks with your CA/SA but it's not linked with your card You can still make payment using option Transfer Funds --> Transfer To Other CIMB Account 3. You have Clicks with your CA/SA and it's already linked to your CC. Just click Account Details --> View All My Accounts ----> Click on your CC acc ----> Pay Statement Amount But I still can't pay anything via my SA/CA on CIMBClicks. Strange .... - SCB which will pay the RM50 for the first year PLUS Free Usable Cash up to RM138. After 1 year, wait for another card with similar offer - OCBC will pay the RM50 if you spend RM10,000 within the year. This post has been edited by ronnie: Oct 19 2010, 08:06 AM |

QUOTE(chemistry @ Oct 19 2010, 03:25 PM) If I recall correctly, it is AMStar Extreme. 1st to 5th IBG transaction is FREE only and you need to maintain RM3000 (RM5 monthly if average balance is less than RM3,000)Not sure whether it's a Savings or Current acc. You may check it out at Ambank's website. Hmmmm... |

Found that OCBC's iQ Basic gives 5 free IBG a month.
Just need to maintain >RM500 monthly to avoid the service fee. This is much better than Ambank Extreme (which also offer 5 free IBG a month) |

QUOTE(chemistry @ Oct 20 2010, 12:03 AM) Hi, I've made a PDF which summarizes OCBC's iQ elite & basic accounts. Those are OK as I don't intend to withdraw much from iQ... main use for IBG purposes.Kindly pls pay extra attention to ATM withdrawal fees. [attachmentid=1842742] I can't find their Interest rates for iQ account type. |

HLB's info on their website seem to be contradicting.
On the HLB Basic Savings account says it's 50sen for first 2 transactions On the HLB IBG page says it's 50sen (didn't mention no. of trxn) |
