I am only getting 550km for city driving. Mine is 2.0 too. Something wrong with my car?
*
If 550km in 100% city driving is quite reasonable..... Mine more or less quite same with the figure if 100% city driving....

Hi Guys,
Need some advice, especially those who had got Daylight LED on your Teana?

I intially had one fixed but later notice that few LED lights burned on the right side, the left seems okay. I went the the shop I originally bought and fixed but since he had no stock, he somehow soldered the burned LED Daylights. althought the colour was not while, but something to get me going while waiting for the stock

After couple of days, left side LED daylight has similar problem (burned few). I was not worried because i planned to visit the shop and hope get complete replacement of both sides. I visited the shop and both of LED daylight was replaced with brand new stock 2 weeks ago.

Now this is where it gets funny. Yesterday night i notice same old problem appear, right side of LED Daylight burned. Now this is confusing as I was phisically present when the replacement of both LED daylight took place 2 weeks ago.

I called up the shop again and he was also puzzled and asked me to drop by for further inspection. Can I check if anyone of you have similar problems LED Daylight burn issue?

Hey there
I think it cost me alltogether RM RM 240 to have my LED Daylight fixed. as you recall, I first purchase my LED Daylight at RM 180 paid to Sales Agent, then because it keeps burning, i was asked to top-up another RM 60 to install better ones, brighter and bigger light.

May you can try LuminLED to install one. I was lucky that the shop still helpful. This was because my Sales Agent ran away with in the midle of purchase... so I was lucky enought i got my car.. else I had to lodge police report because Sales Agent took my Deposit....lucky lucky...

moral of the story (as my wife always remind me)...never.. never..never give cash payment, bank-in or pay with cheque,

Today asked sc about installation of the daytime running led, and they told me better don't install, will void the warranty if you install the drl and the car got problem, especially something regarding to the electrical parts, so how? Went to one of the accessories shop and they asked me to buy from them and can get free installation, if buy from outside, installation they will charge RM100.00, super bloody expensive meh.

In my opinion, any kind of modification can void warranty. Even when you change a better filter. After all, it depends on how the owner see it. Accessories shop will always encourage you to purchase and install at their outlet, it is business afterall. smile.gif To me, I prefer to buy a better products that will last rather than a cheaper product that have inferior quality, you'll waste more time and money in the long run.

Maybe you can survey a few more shops about the installation cost though. Send me a message if you interested with the Wiring Diagram. It might helps you to get a more accurate quotation. smile.gif

Warranty void if you cut any of the wire. Some installation of DRL cut the original wire. Unless you pull new wire straight to battery and install new switch for your DRL.

Dear all,

Finally received my Teana 2 weeks ago, everything seems fine. I am totally agree with the comment on the V-kool tinting... too bright; should had been darker. Overall its fine with me but need to get them to rectify my rear bumper paint defect, looks like a handing / manufacturing defect. Will be getting them to rectify it.

Looking forward for some upgrading, installed a window door visor today. Now looking forward on the option on installing the audio remote @ steering. Anybody had any idea is it possible to do so?

Thanks.
