Hi all, I have a question, does your teana front sensor come with display? Or just like the beep sound like mine?

Hi There,

Thank you for all the post in regards to Teana which helped to prepare what is needed. I have Nissan Centra and trading it for Teana. Still un decided to opt for 2.0 or 2.5 but looking for a car that last for a long time (at least till 5 years)

To owners of existing 2.0, do you feel your car is underpowered as it uses Slyphy Engine?

To owners of existing 2.5, does FC bothers you that much?

Hope to get a reply it would really help to decide which model to opt.

Bro,
Frankly speaking the 2.0 don't feel underpowered, it's even better than Camry 2.0. Been using for about 3 months now, and I quite satisfied with it's performance

i put in under my left side passenger seat. drawbacks.. ur passenger butt will b numb if ur music is loud after few hr drive.. then the sound is awesome at the driver and front passenger seat. but at the back its not so good. 8" is sufficient if u r not tat hardcore. else bass will b too strong. u will need 2 change ur mid, add tweeter and so on.
i personally use MBQ 1.. so far so good.
plain water could clean most of the dirt on leather. just tat u need 2 clean more often. works for me.

Bro, does it void the warranty for cutting the wire to install it? Or you able to do it without cutting any wire?

Added on July 4, 2012, 9:03 pmDear Teana's friend, I expecting the Manufacturer used to give out offer like Raya or National Day promotion, do u think so? shall i hold my purchase until Aug/Sep or pay the booking now? One of the dealer said can disc $7k n can nego further if I m able to confirm wit booking fees tomorrow. I m really scratching my head now.....

Added on July 4, 2012, 9:05 pmThey can offer 1 yr free service only whilst other brands can offer upto 3/5yrs warranty.. This is the cons of selecting Teana
*
Bro, the free service for 1 year is only for maintenance, teana also 5 years warranty i supposed, later i'll check the manual booklet. I don't think other do give free service for 1 year though. biggrin.gif

just some sharing for Teana 200XE owner here, installed the steering audio remote control and it works on the existing CAN Bus system that connected to the car entertainment system. No additional wiring required, just plug and play.

Now, looking forward for other possible upgrade, DRL is my next target, ordered a set of those from Thailand.....
*
Bro,
Mind to share with us where you get the steering remote and the brand? Price range? Thanks in advance.

I got the steering remote from a friend of mine from Thailand on good will. The remote is exactly the same as the one use in 250 & 350 model.

can try your luck check with TCM if they sell and how much is it; but I doubt it will be cheap. I did some survey, another option is to make purchase at ebay.com. attached is the link.

1) Remote only

2) Remote & cruise control

you need to go to TC workshop, get them to dismantle the airbag, then dismantle the whole steering, dismantle the plastic cover then install the remote device. the just plug in the socket. then its done.
Bro, mind to tell us where or which TCM helped you to install this? Thanks

For Civic, it's not even a D-segment car; i think you really should take a test drive and let it hit 110km/h, compare the NVH level...Just my 2 cent
