Wow.. The black color is awesome..
Bro, do u know where to get the daylight led in kl?
*
Yes, the black color is nice but so hard to maintain biggrin.gif

Regarding the daylight, I'm also not to sure where to find it in KL. Even though I'm from KL (staying in Kuantan) unfortunately not to familiar with auto accessory shops in KL.. hehe..
Maybe some of the accessory shop sell it but have to place an order (no ready stock).. hmm.gif

Hmm... So fast so good, except...
-Not so use to the stepping hand break and button start/stop.
-GPS not so friendly even i go through the entire user manual. They should use the [GO] word instead of the word [Destn.]
-RMVB video jerking.
-Front suspension have some 'yik yik' sound while crossing road bump.

i went to Brother's to get the Rubber Coil carpet, the existing fabric one get dirty easily and hard to clear =p

I like the CVT transmission very much, i never knew when the car is shifting the gear... It's just so smooth =p 1st time CVT user here...

Hi Bro Controller888, yes i tested the RMVB file. It's playable from my unit but the quality is jerking, not as smooth as AVI and MPEG. So i will recommend to convert files to AVI instead of RMVB, another reason i think is RMVB has a lot of different codec.

I like the LED light embedded on the chrome front lining. I trying to get it from BKK from my friend, but the situation at BKK is quite worst (flooding). So i haven't contacted my friend yet, if i can really get it from BKK, anyone interested? I try my best to ask him send more  tongue.gif but we need to bear the shipping cost.

Bro lui, any idea how much the daylight led will cost?

If not too expensive, i will consider to place a booking with u.. biggrin.gif

Yeah, at first i feel the gps is not so frienedly... But after using it awhile, i like it so much.. The map is really updated which it din disappoint me once. I remembered last week where i need to a find a place in kl and have set a time to meet my friend there. The gps can search the road but my friend is using papago cant search it. So he was late for almost 1 hour.. biggrin.gif

The front suspension 'yik yik' sound will be gone after u have a drive longer. Dun worry coz mine oso same when i took my car.

Bro, I will check and let update you on the price. The LED itself shouldn't be expensive but the shipping cost I think will cost a lot. If someone can bring back from BKK then is better, but i doubt ppl will visit BKK now.

As for the Door Visor, i didn't hear any wind sound leak into the cabin. I will pay more attention on the wind sound and update =)

Wow... Your statement clam me down because I so don't want the suspension have problem so soon. And the sound was so soft only the driver can feel it while holding the steering. So i was thinking how to explain to the Mechanic when i go for 1k service.
Thx Bro =)

Nah, not yet. But made appointment with Mr.Chong from Sierra Glow, will be doing it on this coming Friday biggrin.gif

After 4 days of usage on the GPS, i found the Map in the GPS system is so details. It show the details of the road on every turning, so you will not miss or get confuse. Especially the road and flyover in Klang Valey, they are so complicated and make you confuse if the GPS map not good enough. But the GPS system on the J32 did a very good job.

Good Job Tan Chong.

That one is software in the CVT to give you the conventional 6-speed shifting feel. Even if you take a look at the spec sheet, all the ratios for all 6 gears is the same, means it is constantly in variable ratio mode.

Nissan even make a very nice flash presentation about their XTRONIC CVT:

http://www.nissan.com.my/vehicles/teana/#technologies

watch it and you will understand. biggrin.gif

changing air filter improve power but wont improve fuel consumption la.. maybe worse..
but question for u.. after u change the air filter do u feel ur car become noisier?
i thinking of changing that too.. how much tat cost?
*
QUOTE(nipah @ Nov 4 2011, 04:04 PM)
The internal combustion theory explaining the important of the air flow and mixture of petrol, that yield the efficiency of engine power. Better mixture, higher efficiency, it NEVER worse but an underpower engine always consume more petrol. Generally there are two types of K&N filter, of course the cone type will boost the engine power better but noiser.
*
Bro WC5599 & Bro Nipah-
Can you guys share more info on the K&N air filter for J32?
What kind of air filter did you installed? Drop in or Cone type?
What is the K&N model that suitable for J32?
How much and where you got it from?
Will the warranty void for changing air filter?

thx a lot.

Guys, so sorry coz so late late to respond. Get the panel type. Teana J32 model filter is exactly same as Sentra N16, X-trail and Maxima (not in Malaysia). They all share the same design. In fact Teana platform is same as the current Maxima in U.S. Go to the authorized K&N dealer (go K&N website, they will tell you the right shop for your location), you will get cheaper price. For your info, I get it at RM330. Make sure you wont get an imitate one, air filter is one of the key components for the engine performance and efficiency. K&N filter will not void the warranty. Next, you shall choose a better engine oil for your car, make your engine even more quiet, lighter feel and better pick up. Start to take care of your new engine from now on, you probably has to start to look for some stuff that help to clean up the fuel system, valves, cyclinders, etc after certain mileage. It just like our human heart, heart problem is the effect of cummulative problem, surgery /by pass is the worst nightmare !! Teana has quite a nice engineering built according to my survey, you shall has more confidence to know that it is at the level of Nissan Maxima in US. The sound proof of this car is good, the 2.5 engine is creamy, the interior is classy, the roofline is nice, so what you guys like about this car? but I dont like the CVT, and what you don't like about this car ? can you guys share your opinion. Thanks, regards.

It looks almost the same as the ori bodykit from nissan. Not much different.

Just the rear skirt is different only.
