as I said, putting the remote in the key slot is a standard thing when keyless entry came out,  even in other car brands..

the higher end variant is the one no need to take out from pocket. so if you buy base model like 2L understandable they dun give you all the high end features right? if you want it, then buy 2.5L lor.. biggrin.gif

push start is push start, keyless is keyless, different thing mah..

liddat might as well say if you got keyless, means must be electric seat with 3 memory function and motorized steering column..

so that when you open the door, n go in the car seat (with key still inside pocket) all automatic adjust for you. laugh.gif

those who are in engineering line would understand better.

engine is to produce power , so if power is set at constant 5k-6k rpm then the maximum acceleration will be produced.

but if you use mid range rpm torque (which is not maximum power the engine can produce) to pull the car in conventional discrete ratio gearbox then your acceleration will be less and also choppy (not constant) due to jump in gear ratios and engine has to be cut off between ratios..

Wow! so complex.. blink.gif anyway, for normal driver like me all is depend on the feel of the car..i also read through "delltonec" case at http://forum.autoworld.com.my/index.php?sh...pic=97146&st=40 quite surprising.. shocking.gif

ha! memory seat is good to have but no also doesn't matter..i am not always adjust the seat and only me who drive the car..not a public car..this function also useless to me. push start&keyless to me is one pair of thing..
keyless= without any conventional key i can start my car by push a button. (i am not mention for those really high tech entry)..so 2.0 should suppose same tech with 2.5 but unfortunately it is not.. sad.gif

yes i agree with you.. laugh.gif comparing 2 cars or more we can get +ve & -ve opinion..since u mention about the space, i guess maybe teana interior is bright colour compare YF all black and rear roof is curve down due to design (not suit for tall ppl)..i don't know their interior cabin volumn figure, but ya~as long as can fit in 3 adult comfort it is ok already..or are u mention about leg room?

huh!? why she hate so much?btw, just treat it as a bonus..somemore we not alway go and adjust the seat..right? and the back windscreen shutter i think also a bonus, but if u said suks suka up&down then must be something wrong some where..better to check it at SC..

It is so bloody hard to choose a D segment car. For me, i didnt like the sonata as the back seat is not really comfortable for tall people. Need to bend my head a little bit even im only 176cm. But of course the interior is canggih. As for accord and teana, accord has quality problem and teana look way too conservative. So left mazda 6, kia k5, ford mondeo and new camry. Looking forward the new camry though.

haha..another fact..most D segment cars longer than MPVs!

Added on September 8, 2011, 3:11 pmAgain, unless you buy bcos your driver will be driving you and most of the time you will be back seater.. Otherwsie, why care about back? most of the time, it's your son/wife will be the back passengers haha

interior space, for sure teana looks big and even bigger than Akod & Sonata bcos of the bright yellow interior, better headroom & smallest dashboard. Sonata dashboard just like Civic already taken-up lotsa space liao. But from the spec, the teana actually the narrowest of all

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Sep 8 2011, 11:26 AM)
It was due to the rubber band effect. When the accelerator pedal was pressed, CVT immediately brings the engine rpm and noise up to a high level as the speed slowly rises. This gives a feeling of clutch slip effect. People always thought engine revs is synchronized with speed, which is the case for conventional auto but not CVT.

Modern day CVT, like those we are get in the Teana has far less rubber band effect since the CVT software could calculate the set up at "first gear" at a faster rate.
But the CVT for the Teana is the Same as the Syphy rite? I think this rubber band effect is still apparent in the Sylphy.

hmm~ hmm.gif if talking about interior volumn..well i only fit in maximum 5 human into the car and not balloon/liquid to fully occupied the entire car space..as long as i feel comfortable will do..for head room i do agree YF loose on this due to the coupe roof design efferct, but well, if the rear roof design push high then it become wagon design ady... for rear seat+knee room also depend on how forward&backward the driver+front passanger seat adjust. if you are mat salleh size / long leg ofcaurse u adjust the seat backward then u get a narrow space for rear passanger. it apply to all kind of cars. luckily me not a big size~ laugh.gif ..for boot size, even the figure show you which car has a bigger volumn but don't forget there are dead corner which you can't accupied..just like fridge counted by volumn (liter) but sometime it just feel like not big enough~

Akod on paper already the longest & widest liao lor furthermore wth smaller than Sonata dashboard for sure roomier lor haha.. Teana is almost same length as sonata but narrower. but the dashboard size & the rear headroom & probably shorter boot size making it roomier than Sonata lor.

Anyway, no matter how roomy D segment car or even most D segment cars longer than any MPVs, the interior still smaller than MPV haha

also the teana boot has scissor mechanism, doesn't intrude when you close it.. not sure sonata is like akod or not, U shape bar to hold the bood lid..

also notice the teana boot is made of aluminium , just guessing from feel.. very light..
