Akod on paper already the longest & widest liao lor furthermore wth smaller than Sonata dashboard for sure roomier lor haha.. Teana is almost same length as sonata but narrower. but the dashboard size & the rear headroom & probably shorter boot size making it roomier than Sonata lor.

Anyway, no matter how roomy D segment car or even most D segment cars longer than any MPVs, the interior still smaller than MPV haha

but bro..u didn't take the car height into consider..as u see D-seg length although akod is the longest but wheelbase only few mm compare with others..but akod give a "big" feeling..so u see, length is measure from front bumper to rear bumper..u still can change those bumper to a longer one but doesn't mean the car is "big"..we should see the wheelbase length..am i right? hmm.gif and also the height of the car..

I have a few points to make regarding the Teana Luxury.
1) After using for almost 6 months and 3 services, the engine starts to become noiser
2) There were on some occasions, felt like the power is not continous when pressing the pedal while coming out of a turn
3) The back seat is rather narrow and does not fit 3 adults comfortably, 2, yes and the front seats are also rather narrow.
4) The seat belt latch gets stuck between the door frame and seat and makes a irritating noise.
5) There's an option to install the navigator (similar to the Sylphy) at RM2,500 for existing Teana owners, offer valid until 15th October 2011, after promotion ends the price is RM4,000.00 but cannot support DVD. The existing Audio system is crap.
6) The boot is big but the lid is small, so you can't fit in big items, only many small items.
7) The sunglass compartment emits a rattling sound and also very irritating.

Went with my friend to Hyundai showroom and my friend commented on the soft seat which looked "sunken" on the brand new I45. What will happen to it after 1 to 2 years?

i didnt face 1,2,7

however, i have faced even more.

1) after months of winding the windows, wind noise comes in.
2) your power isnt continous but mine has a faulty traction control system that is still being "rectified" by TCEAS
3) i dont normally fetch more than 3, but the chute at the handrest behind is suposedly for you to bring out an umbrella. that chute size is so small u can probably throw things in like garbage and never get it out.
4) seatbelts agreed.
5) doesnt bother me. i have my own sat nav.
6) boot is not a complaint for me. i dont really have huge stuff so i cant comment.
7) the only damn sound i have is when i changed my rims and tyres. my tyres are so noisy, i feel geram. but if you dont change tyres and rims, the car looks unproportionate and silly.

the more that i have to add, is when you go above 180km/h, you can see the front bonet preparing to lift off. it vibrates so badly that aerodynamics just isnt right. at peak 210km/h, it'll vibrate and flex so much, that at the sight of it, u'll just release the pedals.

the rear sunshade is crap. put into reverse and it comes down. to settle that modification, send to the mechanic, snip off the wire that connects to the reverse gear and done. but more money gone down the drain.

the front door panels are great. you can stuff nothing into the door compartments unless they are slim. and fat fingers will never be able to dig them out.

front glove compartment is also rubbish. its so oddly shaped, you just cannot put anything feasible in there apart from small tissue boxes.

handrest compartment is crap. i can see the rear air cond ducts flowing through.

the rear view mirror has a compass. why on earth would anyone need that unless they still use road maps or decided to read feng shui. then again, why road maps when you gonna bundle a vehicle with a sat nav ?
