The bad part is u can't choose the maxis center. Now it's all in plaza sentral.

You can't walk in, they won't entertain you. They have a list of all those who made appointments and only sell according to list. Even took my IC for verification.

They allocate me 10am to 1030am, so i must be there during that time. If i miss the appointment then they will reschedule but they said cannot promise when already. So i fast fast go, then again i don't think they're so strict as to not entertain you after 1030am. But i think must be there on that day of appointment lah hehe.

I saw lots of IP4 today in boxes. But must make appointment lah hehe.

Bad news is my iP4 is iOS 4.2.1 If u know what i mean

I must be lucky then if Maxis said they will restock in 2 weeks time. But i saw a lot of units there yesterday. It's crazy if iPhone's sale is this good.

But nowadays i see average 3-4 out of 10 ppl on the road using iphone. hehe.

He meant that 1st iphone you bought must be bonded with plan, 2nd one you could buy outright without contract. Correct me if i am wrong.

I bought first one last month under my primary ivalue I'm getting a 2nd one for my supp line under idata. I called 123, when got thru they'll say press 1 for iPhone, don't do that, press 3 to speak to the consultant then ask about arrangement to buy. They told me within 2 working days someone will call me back to arrange. Following day (which is today) they called back under "Blocked" number and told me earliest slot available is Tuesday. I asked them, they say can buy with contract or outright also. But must be existing Maxis customer only. Hope this helps.

Edit: In fact when I got my first unit in MC TTDI, they did allow outright. And outright is according to standard RRP which is RM 2,290 (16GB) if not mistaken. They do allow outright unlike 3GS last time due to competition I guess.
