Eh, went to KLCC Maxis center, was looking to buy one outright for my hotlink prepaid. Unfortunately, according to the sales guy, outright purchase will only be allowed Jan of next year, possibly even later if stocks are still selling out!

Furthermore he says that Maxis will stop supplying to other traders like machines etc so the only way to get it is through Maxis, and via contract. Sure enough, I checked the machines store in KLCC. They've taken down the iphone displays, said they are no longer selling.

Any truth to all this or is this sales guy full of it?

Man was so looking forward to getting an iphone, may have to go Android now

the roadshow wil definately have stock for the iPhone 4...so you can always get there
and I was planning to get it during the roadshow too

i think most people just cant wait to get the iphone...to eager to be among the first few thousand people who got it maybe...

haha for me to get the iphone 4 is becoz i've been using it since 3G...and I just sold my 3GS on the saturday and now I need iPhone badly...got too used to the touch screen LOL...

thanks god...i just received called from MC asked me to collect my phone at alor star...so planning tomorrow morning will go there...i think i'm very lucky person here,bcoz i just booking on last sunday....

well looks like tmrw and friday should be days to look foward too...if accroding to them that stocks will arrive by then...im still quite skeptical bout this....why does this always happen when maxis is lauching iphone...im sure they would have been aware bout the sales from previous generations...

The news from Maxis was from Twitter but as I said, I went to TTDI MC jus now but they said no stock even for tmr,they wanna clear all the stocks for those who had placed booking...
Only have stocks after1-2weeks.

hey i was at MC ttdi too this afternoon...there's this indian guys who said that they will only have stock next month...then i asked him according to your website...it said, by this week...he said he doesnt know but that was what he heard for he's branch....wtf maxis....useless.......

sigh they should synchronized everything when they announced something on the official website or even twitters...

Yes I know , but we wont know the ugly truth till tomorrow comes . And when tomorrow comes and still no stock , I'm going to call Maxis CS and ask them what is going on actually ..

But the didn't go into details about how much stock they will be receiving. Each maxis center receive 5 iphone4 is still receive stocks.

And what if they gave the stocks to pre-book customers, my friend actually got the iphone4 at BBT One Klang, because his dad knew the owner of that maxis center. I wanna get 3 more iphone4 16gb.
