Yup, confirm Taipan USJ maxis shop takes bookings for the iPhone 4. According to manager thr, should have stock by this week. U can book it but must pay RM 200 for the ivalue prepayment first. The rest, pay when the phone arrives.

Dunno whether the phone will really be available this week or not. If you want to take a chance, can do so. It could just be a way to get more people to sign up via their shop. I believe what they told me (maybe I am just a sucker for these kind of things) and put down the prepayment. When I get it I will update u guys. Cheers

After a week of hunting, finally I got the phone in my hand. Hehehe. Just got back from Sunway MC, this morning they sell only 10 units. Those are unit that didn't collected by the pre-bookers. I arrived exactly at 10am. Just try my luck. Lucky me. Now can rest

I just went there and ask if there is stock that can buy now. Then one of the staff ask me to que with some other people. Actually I'm the 6th person arrived. But I know one of the staff and he let me jump to number 4th. Hehehe.

Not sure la. If me, I would go to KLCC first because it opens at 8.30am, so let say if u got there early and asked for the stock, and if they say got no stock, at least u can drive to Sunway or Garden ASAP before 10am (before the MC open). Hehehe. Im not sure whether Sunway MC open at 10am or earlier, but Garden open at 10am (the staff told me). Hehehe. But it's what I'm thinking for tomorrow (if I didn't get today).

KLCC today said no stock, they said 18-19 KLCC got maxis roadshow. That time should be got a lot stock.

I got a fren just sign up for iphone 4, but he's not satisfy with the service by maxis (not complaining but just describe his situation). He got big guts saying he doesn't want to pay the money for the month commitment, what will happen to him? beside maxis keep bug him to pay the bills... lol

stock just came on 14 n 15 ..lorry just arrived..but cannot la terus sell like that..need to assemble..write the serial no blabla..then put nicely la for next week event..

that's what happen to me...and like 30 other ppl also one Tuesday morning...que from 7:45am...until 5mins before open, one staff came in and say "Sorry laa encik2 semua...Iphone 4 memang takder stok...' hehe...

but try Sunway MC...lately they are giving the stocks as alot of ppl not collecting their pre book phones...thats what i've been told by them

Eh, went to KLCC Maxis center, was looking to buy one outright for my hotlink prepaid. Unfortunately, according to the sales guy, outright purchase will only be allowed Jan of next year, possibly even later if stocks are still selling out!

Furthermore he says that Maxis will stop supplying to other traders like machines etc so the only way to get it is through Maxis, and via contract. Sure enough, I checked the machines store in KLCC. They've taken down the iphone displays, said they are no longer selling.

Any truth to all this or is this sales guy full of it?

Eh, probably doing it because sales too good... so guess customers are too loyal? Hope they don't turn to AT&T and go permanently Contract or GTFO

Anyway, will check maxis and machines @ Pavilion tomorrow to see if there's any truth to this. Keeping fingers crossed...
