Shit, dude. I was wondering how you got that much weight loaded up on the machine seeing as the gym doesn't have THAT many plates. Then you posted the picture.

I'm wondering, from the 3-day/4-day splits routines which I see people doing, there are mostly no forearm/calf work done. Is it because enough work is done on those muscles that no direct work on it is done?
I personally don't add in forearms because pretty much every other exercise, except leg work, involves the forearms. Calves though, IMO, should be added in to routines.
I can't fit into jeans anymore, plus the trend now is the fitting type of cutting for both jeans and shorts... which makes it all the more tougher, gosh. I think my mom would be pissed if I told her I needed tailor made shorts.
I know the feeling. It's hard to find jeans that fit nowadays cause nearly all the cuttings are the skinny type. I couldn't get a particular pair of jeans up past my knees the other day when I went shopping because they were SO tight.
Anyone here trains at KakiGym? I think imma join there permanently seeing how the other gym's dumbbells only go up until 25kgs. The rates there are pretty decent I think.
Just back from there, they having promotion until 25th of this month. RM650 for yearly membership including registration and a free shirt. =) Confirm joining.
Read the stickied threads. I have replied you in my post. And I'm guessing jasoc is your sibling from the thread he/she posted? Anyway, good carbs are food with low fat. Chicken breast, tuna, fish.. Those kind of stuff. Now, don't expect me to spoon feed you with all the information. If you're serious about losing weight and your MAN BOOBS, make an effort to read the threads that are stickied above. For exercise regimes, look for darklight79's post on BodyBuilding Programs and ken86's post for food that you can eat. Like I said, no use focusing on only one part of your body. WORK THE ENTIRE DAMN THING.
Uh, bro. Carbs are carbs. Fat is fat. Good carbs in general are low GI carbs. High GI carbs do have their uses too though, ie postworkout.
just curios here... izit necessary to take protein shake if u want to build muscle?
Protein is the basic building block for muscles. Whether you get it from a shake or by gnawing on a cow is up to you, the important thing is you get it.

is there any video guide on squats on smith machine? i tried doing front squats on smith machine today, very odd form i got, very un-natural form.gave up tryin, dun wan to injure myself and better research for more info
Squat form on the smith is a bit like hack squats, in the sense that you create a less acute angle between your hips and torso like with regular squats by placing your feet slightly more forward and leaning back a bit more.
Do correct me if I'm mistaken, Darkie/John/any of you guys who squat on the smith.

i jz started as a rookie...is it ok if i dun take any pre workout supplements and only have some meals which consist of high protein like bread with peanut butter or tuna?for post workout im taking myofusion hydro
Pre-workout can be a shake 30minutes-1hour before a workout, or a solid meal 1-2 hours before.
lol, sometime i swing during pull up when I do it fast. Im Beginning to feel small bit of DOMS on my back. Looks like close grip palm facing pull exercises is working better for back muscle
Close-grip pulldowns allow you to stretch the lats more. So it's kinda the same how you get DOMS (or me at least) from doing flyes for chest days.
manage to dig out tht scoop jz nw using another spoon
so jz 1 full scoop of tht = 6oz?
1 scoop of your average protein powder is 30g. The protein content in a scoop is generally roughly 20-25g. Just add enough water/milk till you're happy with the consistency, no need to be so precise about things.
hey guys, i am 17 years old and i just srtarted bodybuilding. Now i"m planning to consume whey protein. I really need your advices on which brand should i go for ? i am currently looking to purchase a whey insolate as the amount of lactose contain is less then 1%. btw, should i go for GNC ? i heard that its a bit expensive, but hows the quality ?
thanks in advance guys.
IMO, Scivation or ON are the best value for money whey products at the moment. You can get it from www.egonutritions.com or from some of the forumers here for cheaper prices, IINM.

hi all
anybody train at Average Joe in Bandar SG long ???
Have some question, this is my routine and whey protein intake.
1. One week once or twice workout (2 hours) 2. Consume Whey Protein during workout only (dont want to be fat and muscle mass but fill with air) 3. Carrying 35kg to 45kg Bench Press (sufficient to build bigger chest?) Is it okay ?
kinda got sick of protein powder already..is there any tablet form protein to recommend ?
I'm just speculating here, but tablets could have, what, 1g of protein a piece? A scoop of whey has roughly 25g of protein. Why swallow a hundred tablets a day when you could down a shake and be done with it?
Hi guys, anyone bought scivation recently? i bought one from lowyat at rm285, and it taste different. less choco taste and sweeter! anyone facing the same prob?
I bought a bag of Scivation whey a week or two ago. It's a lot sweeter than ON, verging on too sweet. Gotta put up with it then probably go back to ON after finishing this bag.
sweet ke? i've been buying scivation choc and also vanilla for the past 2 - 3 years and biasa je rasa die but i like the smell of the powder though im definitely buying it once my scivation runs out which is going to be pretty soon
Yeah, maybe I'm used to ON or something, but yeah it's really sweet to me,
