Everything seems too scattered. Better to keep things organized.
And, what are '- CurlBros ( 3x8 )' ? If you mean you pick up a random brother in the gym and start curling him, I salute you, my friend. This post has been edited by -Dan: Jun 4 2011, 04:10 PM |

D'you mind explaining how dumbbell curls became 'curlbros'? I can grasp the curl part, but how did you end up with bros?

QUOTE(SticH @ Jun 12 2011, 12:49 PM) Guys, can you review my routine? Bro, I'd say if you were on juice, had multiple supplement sponsors, ate half a cow and a section of a paddy field every day, then your body might be able to get something out of training so much. QUOTE(MelForC3 @ Jun 13 2011, 05:17 PM) I do train 7 times a week if i have time... Last week i did that Damn, bro. Is that including cardio? 3 hours on weights alone is average, almost 3 hours in the gym well.. FYI, i don't take any sort of extra supp or juice stuff. Just eat a lot >.< Usually 5-6 times a week, minimum is 5 time QUOTE(razorboy @ Jun 13 2011, 06:49 PM) THIS? 3 hours per sessions? 7 days a week? Don't forget the rear delts. They deserve more attention than they get. Throw in some reverse flyes or face pulls.Trust me mate, when I say it's fairly difficult to get buffed up, it takes a lot of hard work, dedication and a shit load of nutrition to get really buffed up. Don't worry about getting too muscular, it's something that a lot of people get worried about for no reason. Go ahead and enjoy weight training. P.S - if you still insist on only working your shoulders, a shit load of shoulder presses and side raises/lateral raises would do the trick. But it's not an overnight thing so try not to just go for a week and expect it to get too big eh |

Good on you for trying to promote some good ol' leg training. One thing though, I think for squats on the smith, placing your feet further in front takes a lot of stress off the knees and puts more emphasis on the quads, ie performing it somewhat like a hack squat. Because the bar is held in place, you don't have to worry about it slipping or falling, so you get to place the feet forwards. My 2 cents.

Does anyone get a bit of insomnia after leg days? I seem to take forever to fall asleep after I train legs, even if I trained way earlier in the day. Which is why I'm here right now. :/

QUOTE(pedro @ Jun 18 2011, 06:30 AM) Been doing very high intensity cardio at night lately and its always very hard to sleep afterwards. I know what you mean, man. For me, my body's totally exhausted but my mind has all the energy in the world and it just won't go to sleep. I dunno why I feel energized after the session! |

Use DBs, and use the weight that your left arm can do for both arms.

QUOTE(free_enuf @ Jun 18 2011, 09:50 PM) You guys are crazy! Please dont hide the fact from the poor fella that the most effective way is to use it as an enema and pump it up the ass. Dude, come one! It depends, barbells come in quite a variety. So you'll just have to ask the management what their barbell dimensions and weight are.

Take the number of reps your weaker arm can do, and don't exceed it for the stronger arm.
