supposed to have a power reserve of 40+ hours, which i did get on my mini monster 3 days ago, where i left it down after a long day out, it ran for almost 2 days. i'd say on average you'd get 30+ hours normally if you're like me, on the desk all the time tongue.gif

just curious, how u maintain all your automatic watches? Don't think the power can last when u changing rights?
Automatic winder?
*
auto winder would be for those manual winding watches. if im not mistaken. so for seiko's autos normally, no wrist time, no winding at all wink.gif

Erm, what i mean is..since @iamadrianlee has so many autos, even if he's switching diff watches everyday those watches would be not moving when reach its turn right? Hehe..So have to reset the time again everytime need to wear? Sorry for my broken english..tongue.gif
*
haha! dont worry about it. i actually knew what u meant, but dunno why i said something else. morning syndrome. still sleeping with eyes wide open.

yup, even for me, for 3 seiko autos, surely one will die off. so i'd say, see which one you prefer to have the most wrist time with. 2 is the max to keep them all running. laugh.gif

luckily my russian aviator manual winding. hahaha senang tongue.gif

I think you mean the opposite? Watch winders work for auto watches so if you put your Seiko auto on a winder, technically it will be running as long as the winder is on. Manual/hand winding on the other hand requires, well, hand winding.
*
whops. i tot it was the other way round. my bad...

hrmm...is it worth getting a winder? i checked out the prices, not cheap tho. and will an unworn/still watch be bad?

i'd say ebay will get the best deals on monsters. but as for the stargate, i think its a fair price to pay.

I am looking for Seiko watch but I have small hands. Any recommendations for 39mm or smaller face?
*
type of watch prefered? chrono? diver? military? smile.gif

for 38mm i'd say get the titanium chrono. i'll search for the code soon and up some pics.

but something with day and date, i'd say maybe a seiko 5. but the best workhorse i'd say is the monster. or something more dress-ish would be the skx007 or 009 tongue.gif

i see, thanks for the info biggrin.gif but how do i alter it back to english? the model i have is seiko 5 snk809k2

and last midnight was showing FRI and now its VIE >_>
*
haha! yup..if you select spanish as the date, it will rotate to english for a brief moment around 12am to 3am. hehehe.

all u need to do is, right now pull crown out to the 1st position where u can adjust the day and date, rotate clockwise and get FRI. once u do that, it wont change to spanish the next day. except during that period of 12am - 3 am.
