QUOTE(franstormer @ Dec 23 2011, 12:49 PM) ah anti clockwise for the day and clockwise for the date, and 1 thing i wanna ask ah, since every month have a different day, how did they jump from 30 to 1 or 30 to 31? o_O ah..for this unfortunately, we need to adjust it once a month. or whenever the last day of the next month is diff. out watch will always run to the end of its calendar, which is 31. so if a month has 30 days, we have to push it up to the next day lo. that's why we have those perpetual calendar watches

shaking must be left to the booty. not watches. sorry. bad joke. winding a seiko 7s26 which i think is your movement, will take a whole's day of wearing to get it fully wound. has a max reserve of 28 hours. but that's max. i find that it takes quite a while to be fully wound. once i left my baby mons, it ran for almost 2 days! haha.

@Alcip
hehe. thanks dude! when i first wanted to buy my first seiko, the snzf17, i comtemplated this as well. but chose not to cos it was smaller, on the spec sheet. which now i completely regret. this will be my restoration project lo. hehee.

QUOTE(zajun80 @ Jan 3 2012, 04:20 PM) wah bro fluffy.. now u in restoration/modification level ah? happy new year bro! happy new year! hehe. ya lo. something more exciting..altho i have so many seiko divers to collect. haha. for the skx031 i wont mod anything except for a oyster bracelet and the sapphire glass. but those aftermarket sapphire crystals arent cheap. about 50USD. dang. but i guess its worth the money spent? by the way bro, do you know any shops which i can walk in and buy seiko parts? im looking for the bezel and case back gaskets. the ones came with the 031 are old, feel grainy, and i'd be safe and change them one shot. oh ya, if i can find a 6105 cheap, i'd make it a second project haha.

QUOTE(deriku @ Jan 4 2012, 06:08 PM) I used to think that Seiko chronographs were the finest pieces out there when I first got my Casio. Somehow they lost their appeal to me agreed. their sportura models are nice tho.. but for that price? i'd rather get a tissot chrono Added on January 4, 2012, 6:29 pmQUOTE(okuribito @ Jan 4 2012, 05:34 PM) wahhhh good good... keep us posted on what we can get from them & prices too (harap harap can share lah) btw, have u got all the kit for fiddling with the movement? saw your movement jig couple of posts ago myself itchy too hehe. sure dude. yea i do, bought some tools online, seem to work fine. im ordering myself a watch hands remover and a crystal press tool too. QUOTE(surefire @ Jan 9 2012, 07:20 AM) hi all. newbie to the forum but i'am interested in the black monster. any idea wat would be the retail price in malaysia. your help is greatly appreciated. a black monster would retail about 700-800 after discount. buying online for a grey piece will set you back about 500-600.
