hi all. based on this forum i've just gotten myself an Orient watch from a authorised dealer over the weekend. imho, the finish and quality compared to the seiko 5 (similar price range) is better and more refined. but i noticed the range of Orient Star available in the ADs here in Msia a bit limited (for e.g. i didn't see any selling the GMT series). is there a regular and reliable watch website you all visit to buy Orient Stars? many thanks! and again, thanks for opening my eyes to Orient watches

alcip, i got it from one of the shops in pertama complex. but yesterday i went to sg. wang and there are way more shops selling a wider range. solar time is one of them. but you have to look around because a single shop will not carry all the possible models. Orient Star models are really limited, which is why i'm asking here if there are any reliable websites which one can buy Orient Star watches.

@coachly, like you already mentioned...solar time is the best place for me to look at orients.
surprising that u didnt see the orient star gmt in sungei wang, cos the solar time in sunway pyramid has all 3-4 diff models of them...the older with the cyclops and the 2 newer black and white ones without cyclops. basically the full range on the international orient star site is available, including the new skeleton which retails at rm5.2k...zzz... also some domestic japan only models over there too...pity they cant get the blue retrograde. |

QUOTE(Dav6534 @ Sep 27 2012, 01:23 AM) Hi Sifus, Indeed, a very good watch, congrats Im new to this thread and also new to watches. i just got my first automatic watch and i got the seiko stargate. mind to comment whether its a good watch? Thanks in advance! However, do note that on top of the bezel, there's one tiny screw at the lume pipe that u need to take care of it to the max, it might be loosing...I would suggest to put 1 drop of loctite to get it secured. Refer here: http://yeomanorient.wordpress.com/2012/08/...me-pip-missing/ Apart from the simple problem, it is one most the best looking diver produced by seiko |

Hmmm.... would it be weird for an uncle (me) to wear black monster?
Looking for a new beater.... 007 too shiny and couldn't get one with jubilee here, Stargate's bezel doesn't speak to me and Sumo too big. |
