it is designed for those who are a profession of a pilot yes, its true!
there are many functions and calculations to use it...
speed, time and distance travel calculation...
calculation of fuel rate consumption, fuel quantity required and remaining cruising time...
calculation of climbing altitude, climbing rate and climbing time...
conversion of mile, kilometers, fuel pounds, us gallons and etc
but i dun know how to use it... i just like the design... very nice and awesome...

I think N is supposed to be rotated between the sun and the direction you're heading. Pilots used to use watches like these as a backup in case their instruments failed but nowadays I doubt that is the case. I'm currently working on a project at "Now everyone can fly" office and I noticed most pilots there are wearing Omega Speedmaster.

Hey guys, I have a kinetic auto relay seiko which I think the capacitor has run out of juice since its >4years old.

Anyone knows where can I change it and how much would the cost be?
Also, the watch will stop whenever I tighten the crown, so I always kept the crown loosen of its screw to keep it running, any idea whether the shop can repair it too?

Side note: I wonder if it's normal for an automatic watch to loose precision even worn daily. I notice my 7S26 Seiko 5 is slowing down over days of about 5 days with each day slowing down by approx 1 minute. I have always used to setting my watch to be 5 minutes ahead of actual time. However, over the period of a week, I notice the time goes back to actual time.

It's a mechanical watch, used to run for longer time without any movement, but now that time is shortened.

instead of going through all 53 pages, hope u don't mind if i just ask lah ... where can i get all the diy tools to do simple servicing? eg ...

shorten / lengthen bracelet ( the connecting rods)
change bracelet (that end spring bar)
change / mod bezel (using penknife to prise open now)
clean & lubricate hard-to-turn bezel (where to buy the lube & o-ring / seals?)
