Went to Pertama Complex to Hunt for SS bracelet for my Raksasa Jingga... So fast I was in and out in about 35mins biggrin.gif

First went to "Gold Watch" or was it "Gold City" ??? anyways its the shop on first floor facing the escalator.

Showed my OM with rubber strap, took my watch, brought somewhere and brought it back, made a few phones calls and then conclusion...

"this one have to order...3 Bulan Baru dapat!!!!" rclxub.gif when asked about the price quoted ball park figure only also not so sure...

so I said thank you and proceeded to another shop along the lane...

"Kedai Jam Pertama" went in the shop, showed my OM and immediately showed me a box full of original Seiko SS straps...ahhh yes sir... got one Left....

I said "I'll take it" and immediately strapped it on...

Now so happy with my OM and SS Bracelet biggrin.gif

Attached Image

so for anyone looking to get a seiko or even seiko straps I would recommend this shop biggrin.gif

Wahhh so lucky... can get Seiko as Vday gift rclxms.gif

Anyways, just wish to report to all seiko users here,

Went to Sungai Wang yesterday, "Kedai Jam Pertama has in stock a lot of Original Seiko Strap, Leather and SS bracelets. its located at LG floor near Parkson alley.

Also spotted the limited edition Seiko "Tuna" 4R36 divers at "KUM WAH" watch (same row) was tempted to it but the Plastic part is making me think twice...and only comes in rubber straps.

Hmm Interesting coincidence... I found this ALBA open heart design while I was Browsing at a shopping mall...

Looks the same but not really the same...one advantage of the ALBA though...it has lume on the hands, see through case back, and SS bracelet... although no manual wind and no hacking.

hi guys, after doing some research...while looking for a diver watch... I came across the Orient Mako series and feeling to itchy to get one tongue.gif

However...if youwalkinto a watch store aournd town you would most likely find the Seiko Section... instead of an orient section... any one know a good place to get Orients??

Would be interesting to do a Orient Mako and Seiko SKX comparison biggrin.gif

Try Kedai Jam Pertama or Gold Watch at Pertama Complex n also Kedai Jam pertama and Kum Wah at sungai wang. sweat.gif I think RM300 is obtainable for the model.

NIce Submariner brows.gif

But personally I still think that it should always go with a stainless steel Solid Oyster BRacelet thumbup.gif

Hmm seem to remember asking about Orient watches in this thread...issit TABOO to ask about Orient in this thread or should a dedicated Orient thread be started?

Hey guys,

I am just wondering whereabouts in KL can I find a shop that sell loads of ranges of Seiko dive watches? Thanks...
*
you can try Pertama Complex and Sungai Wang.

since my last visit i have spotted the black monsters, stargate SS, starfish SS, the 4R15 Spork and the 4R35 limited edition divers and of course there is still alot of the SKX007/009s around.

this watch is a damn chameleon... not too thick so it will go with a cuff, stylish enough for a Dress watch and brave enough for sports, recreation and casual outings...

this watch gets a lot of wrist time from me and honestly is like a nicotine patch for my watch addiction tongue.gif

I was walking about at "The Mall" (us oldskool guys know this place as "The Mall" or Yaohan" tongue.gif) now its called Putra Place or Legend Mall I think, anyways its the mall opposite PWTC.

I found this Rare beauty of a seiko Diver watch sitting handsomely in the display cabinet...

Introducing the now discontinued... seiko "Spork" 4R15 Divers watch

fariq, awwww... i too want a wife that buys me a watch once in a while....
*
The price on the tag eas RM1569.00 but of course the shop gave me the standard 15% off and being Kiasu I asked for an additional 10% hehe brows.gif

anyway I'm sure those who bought it at the time it came out got a much better price, but since its now becoming rare I knew that I just HAD to get it rclxub.gif

I love aviation style watches but also love the robustness of diver watches...and now I have the best of both worlds with the spork.

Naka7a -> Wifey just got company bonus so timing was just nice hehe rclxms.gif

walikard -> thanx bro now now got too many seiko divers already... selling off my black starfish and also considering letting go of my White Knight... should I?

knn, replacement bezel came...but they sent wrong one...for mako instead  doh.gif
now have to wait 1 more month for ray bezel to come cos the place never keep stock since its still a new model.
when it comes, if it comes, then see how la tongue.gif
*
can see picture of the replacement bezel? Do you get to keep the wrong one? hmmm if you get to keep it can repaint it to black and red do a coke Mako!!! cool2.gif

They already have a PEPSI mako so a Coke one would be very unique drool.gif

oops just noticed that your original bezel was black right? that makes it easier to do a coke mod...just paint a quarter section red smile.gif

Hi guys,
i have a Seiko Chronograph..the problem is the needle of the tachymeter was not back in the reset (12) position..
should i sent the service centre..or is there any other solution?
is there know cause of the this problem to occur?
*
Hi... you came to the right place.

try this :

1) pull the crown out 1 step and press and hold either of the chronograph buttons it should rotate and then you can adjust and set it back to zero
2) if this doesnt work then do the same process above with the crown out 2 steps

hope this helps....

try again with both crown positions and either one of both buttons, be sure to press and HOLD until it rotates.

I've used this method with most chrono graphs and it worked on seiko, guess swatch, and even other fashion watch chronographs

if it still doesn't work try any watch shop.

good luck
