hmm...nw still struggling between lenovo Y460 and dell XPS 15....as both price is almost the same... and specs is significantly same too.... lenovo Y460 using ati HD5650 or nvidia GT425M?

lenovo y460 with spec i5 460M is using GT425 , RM 2999
while the older spec.. i5 540M is using HD5650 , RM 3599


better go for newer spec...

ATi HD5470 is slightly better...
That Inspiron 14R only using Intel HD, which is much weaker than ATi HD5470/310M, but if you are using with no gaming, then its no problem...
For Toshiba, if you don't mind Intel HD

if want with dedicated GPU,
Toshiba L645-1112X, i3 370M + ATi HD5470@RM2349...

which is better? budget is nt of a problem. will be using it for entertainment (movie, music, slight gaming), uni stuff like autocad

Its mainly if you need the lightness of Vaio Z or not, else HP Envy 14 would be better, if its with the 1600x900 Radiance display.

MBP 13 would the lowest in term of gaming, but wins in battery life...

awww, cant get beats in malaysia? bt im having some doubts bout vaio, my current FW12 used to hang alot. the whole machine jz stop thr, n needs reboot. happens everyday. until i change to win7. isit the OS prob or hardware prob?

Well, you said after change to Win 7, then it didn't occur anymore.
Means its software problem...

if you want the beats version, you can import it from US yourself. You sound like you have the budget ;D

envy is full allum built like mbp right? the palm rest part, will the thing corrode? my vaio's turned damn ugly.

Its a mix aluminum with magnesium-alloy chassis, but still not built-like MBP...
haven't seen anyone said it corrode....
