The bottom line is you won't be able to customize unless online purchase. That is what i know. The reseller may add RAM for you, but it won't be under the Dell On site Warranty.

Toshiba L645-112x come with total 2 years warranty(first year Regional Limited Warranty, second year Local Limited Warranty) and free upgrade to 4GB RAM
Toshiba L645-112x come with Regional Limited Warranty, some of the model come with International Limited Warranty
*
Why recently some of the laptop manufacturer tend to provide certain models with different kind of the warranty service?

They really makes things complicated.

You won't know what will happen in the future. If you get JPA scholarship, then you will have chance to go to the other country.

Would like to ask about dell's pricing on their accessories product(Power Adapters, cell batteries and such). Heard they are slightly or alot higher in price compared to competitors such as dell and hp.
As well as the durability of a dell lappie compared to Asus's one. ( How long before the lappie breaks down whether under heavy or low usage)
*
I am not sure about the pricing, but i can tell you is that if dell charge higher, i still prefer it over hp because of its better after sales service and quality when compared with the hp.

For me, the durability of the laptop depends much on how the laptop owner take care of laptop.

What about if both asus and dell laptop got taken care the same exact way... i would suppose asus would come out on top based on durability? =o
*
I think Asus should be able to come up top.

However, luck is another factor that is important factor when you make decision.

For example, your dealer so happen to take a bad apple when purchasing for you or the model you use have inherent issues with it.

To reduce such problem, check your laptop thoroughly before paying the cash if you purchase from the shop and hope for the best in case you buy from any seller that requires you to pay up front.

At the same time, please do not expect total perfection for the laptop you are receiving for all aspects. There might be some shortcomings, but always distinguish which 1 is eligible for warranty claims.

Happy shopping.

why somebody recommend not buy HP notebook?
is HP not good?

For me, HP is good in terms of design and after sales service (but Dell is the best).

In term of reliability,I am not impressed.

Just got the dell inspiron 15r, kinda worried about getting scratches on the top of the lappie(already have a few small scratches because i left it in the bag...sigh). Should i get a transparent skin for it? i just bought one...but im having a hell of a tough time getting it to stick on my notebook without air getting in between the skin and the notebook. any ideas?
And between cooler master u2 and u3..what would you guys get for a 15.6" display?...or is there better cooler pads for it?
I also need a portable and slim cooler pad for my laptop that fits inside my bag...any ideas bout it?
*
If you have stick the lappy and have air bubbles with it, good luck in getting rid of it.

Cooler Master is quite good for me, but how big is your bag?

it just fits my 15.6" lappie nicely into it...i wonder if it fits the height of a u2 though.... has 2 large compartments...but it obviously only is made to accommodate one 15.6" lappie =/
Kinda in a dillema to either get u2 for portability or u3 for house use...15.6" easilly fits into both of it right?..i hope >_>

Ultimately, cooling your laptop does not only rely on your cooler only.
