QUOTE(DoubleU @ Dec 20 2010, 10:24 AM) Higher clock speeds, lower power consumption and less heat. Also, the integrated intel HD card is on par with mainstream cards like the HD5650-5730 Sounds good, but i opt to wait until the users' feedback.This post has been edited by Quantum_thinking: Dec 20 2010, 11:41 AM |

QUOTE(skycrawler @ Dec 21 2010, 12:11 AM) Depends. My 2006 Aspire 5570 still working fine with me. The only thing that worries me is that i would pick a bad apple laptop when i purchase it. That is why i focus on the warranty issues. Every brand have its own pro and cons. |

QUOTE(ic3rock @ Dec 23 2010, 11:52 PM) Looking for lite gaming laptop (dota), prefer Asus, budget Rm2-2.5k, with dedicated gc. Now using Compaq with ATi gc, AMD processor, keep hang screen, tulan already... I never buy the AMD powered computers. It seems to become laggy after using it after a few years like that. Anyone have any idea what caused this? |

@ic3rock
If you are really very familiar with your laptop, you can try to clean the heat sink and its fan. Always remember that it is easy to disassemble, but difficult assemble back for people like us. I like dell because of its on site warranty services only. |

QUOTE(ic3rock @ Dec 24 2010, 06:45 PM) AMD processor? Think twice lo cause im using AMD, now plan to get Intel. I also play dota online, when just got the lappy, it's good. But adter 2 years used, now want dota, think is GC or Processor overheat, screen keep hang... Depends how the lappy owner take care of the laptop also. Added on December 24, 2010, 6:47 pm Sure, if getting new lappy, sure get better GC... Heat is a real problem for the electronic stuff if it is not managed properly in the long term. QUOTE(djronzai @ Dec 24 2010, 09:26 PM) I tot Dell uses ATI GC 1? |
