It's better to change a whole new PC or upgrade CPU/GPU/RAM if your budget is tight. You're having an old chipset which doesn't mean upgrade the parts will give you better gameplay. You're having an old PCI-e 1.0 which the bandwidth is less than those using chipset P4x series(PCI-e 2.0) and above. C2D 6400 is consider the minimum requirements so beware your CPU will be always on 100% usage > hot.

How come i feel the game control response is "slow" by about 0.3-0.5 seconds? example to move, after i press the key, it starts to move only about after 0.5s. Turn the screen 0.5s, Press the menu out also 0.5s, select each option also 0.5s lag.

FFXI is almost immediate response.

wow, i hardly notice the "slow" you mention. how you do that? xD surely you're.. joking about this to be a complain?

what i mean is the game is not responsive as the old FF11. everything is slow by almost half a second, whenever i move, select thing, press the menu out etc.

EDIT : zzz found the problem, my computer is too slow. Set it to 1280x800 then become better (still got slight lag). Earlier is 1920x1200.
wahlao, like this my laptop will not be able to play at all, desktop also cannot tahan...
