for digi - can.. just change the apn name... then u r able to browse as per normal.. coz we have data sim.. the sim that can connect to internet via hp or modem with no voicecalls tagged to it...

even if u r using normal prepaid or postpaid sim with internet connection also can use.. either in modem or of coz phone.. not sure of other telco, though...

i heard that we can use modem using phone.. but i never try.. sry,cant help ya..

i tried on the usb tethering, just down the apps call "easy tethering" from android market will do........
for backup, you may try "Android Wifi Manager"

Hi, I need help in getting GPS to work. I have Papago X5 installed in G5 but satellite icon keeps blinking, no locking. Download GPS test app from market show no GPS activity. Anyone can help getting GPS work?

next, try these step, might can help

1.Go to "Setting" - Location & Security - Use Wireless Networks(always keep tick)
2.Go to "Setting" - Location & Security - Use GPS Satellite (always keep tick)
3.Go to Android market download and install the apps "GPS Booster"
4.Restart phone
5.Go to outdoor (without tall building surrounding within 100m)
6.Open Papago

1st 1-3 times might need longer locking time, later will get better and better

Optional : You can download "GPS Test" at Android market to view the satellite connection status

What is the benefits for installing papago? i want to install too.. cant find it in market tho.. i can only find GPS test.. can give me the link or pm me?

how to off th pop up sms for the normal messaging yea? i already downloaded hancent... however... when i recv the sms.. both fr hancent n the normal msg will pop up...

plus.. whr to off the vibrate when recv msg... getting stressed liaw.. ahahha... sms recv alway will get the vibrating thingy.... adoii!!!!

to disable the notification from Messaging (built-in software), open the app, select Settings -> Uncheck Notifications, so you will no longer receive notifications from Messaging. It will turn off the ringtone and vibrate from this app all together.

guys how to remove icon from the home screen and add icon to the home screen?

To REMOVE: long press the icon and drag to the bin when you see the bin appear at the bottom
To ADD: Menu -> Add

does G5 support all the apps in android market that does not require multi touch?

does the ui experience any lagness?

Is it easy to browse the net, i mean hows the kinetic scolling?

tap the prog until it will show the desktop screen..then lift up u'r finger. U may do this action to move it to other desktop too

hmm... I am having the same problem too~! the satellite icon with the question mark keep blinking on the right top corner. I have checked my settings and both of the WiFi and GPS are checked, downloaded GPS Booster and restarted my phone as well. But leave it for a night already, still can't get any signal. Until now I'm already in the office (not connected to WiFi now, does it require?) but it's still blinking.... :-(

Leave it for a night? I did mentioned that the GPS unable lock in indoor.................try it outdoor with no tall building surrounding.

The papago will temporary stop the gps if went out from the navigation screen, eventhose you enter the "setting" in papago, the gps will stop as well, re-locking needed after access navigation sreen

Not all support, some apps especially games are not support Galaxy 5's resolution

No, smooth and stable eventhose it multi tasking

Its damn fast but not support pinch zoom
