Hi, I need help in getting GPS to work. I have Papago X5 installed in G5 but satellite icon keeps blinking, no locking. Download GPS test app from market show no GPS activity. Anyone can help getting GPS work?

It is known problem for difficult first time satellite lock. Just got mine locked with lot of patience. Users here will guide you as they have guided me:
1: Enable wireless and GPS locking in setting. 2. Download GPS booster lite from market. 3. Open PPGx5 and leave in open space for sometime. (I leave mine on balcony for 10 mins) Finally, it is working but the UI is not pleasant at all compare to GarminXT. Maps rendering and voice navigation also inferior to Garmin. Maybe should try Garmin-Asus android phone. |
