omg.... my g5 start to have problem.....
just now i use my g5 browser to download file less than 1mb but it stop download at 48%..... i tot my screamyx is down but it's not!
my g5 unmount my external storage itself!! restart doesn't solve but later i remove back cover, remove & re-insert the memory card then it detected & mount it back for me...
seems like hardware problem....

is it really add RM100 for galaxy 3? I'm also waiting for that now. if the price is no lower than 850, maybe will go fro this galaxy 5.
I like galaxy 3 for the ability to edit doc (as reviewed in gsm arena)

coz nowadays lot of smartphone come with super 1Ghz processor which i think not necessary for students like me(as it adds lots of $$).
so, I'm looking for these budget android like galaxy 5 and the upcoming galaxy 3 (or maybe the rumored I5510). hope that the price is not too high..

btw, read some review that the screen size cause some apps to not work (properly?) on this phone.
is there any major apps that is important that are effected? thank you..

i use 3g sim but i off the 3g function (use the GSM only)..and my father's HP use an old sim like u...no problem with the GPS..so getting a 3G sim is not a compulsary..it's just an advantage


they should do something to fix their GPS..i went to Samsung Service center yesterday..test with their new HP also very2 hard / can't detect the GPS

yeah i think i read some say g3 it can upgred into 2.2...so our application can save in memory card...it really advantages for many application right...
because right now we use internal memory 170mb for all function and memory card as storage...

for me is better the application in memory card....so the internal memory not really pack...
so our software and hardware can maintain the performance...

if the internal memory full...it will bother the performance...it will more slow and often hang...
same concept with our pc...if our c drive full....our performance will decrease...and also our application can't be save if anything happen to our hp...

about sim card question tq for answer...now i understand that...

i also just a student...so i don't need i very high spec...but i need i stable performance to do some task...
g5 actually is ok for me...but its better i aim a little higher...
g5 only lack at camera spec, screen not big enough for some application, can't edit document...
about gps...i think there will resolve soon...because this hp start famous right now...
yeah 1 more thing i don't know about battery life time...some say 1.5 day for heavy user...it really true???
if don't have any news about g3...i still will pick up g5 as my hp lol....^^

Used to face the same problem so I saved my outlook contacts to CSV file and uploaded it into my Gmail then use the Wifi to sync it

I think it happens o me b4,i go click in phone something like dont need to detect memory card,then my memory cards go off... I think i just restart it and it is fixed

how does galaxy 5 perform compare to galaxy s? is It lagging as well? froyo coming for this phone as well?

Guys,i heard all apps cannot be transfered to SD card unless 2.2 froyo or Root ur phone.... Whats the risk to root phone and root is like jailbreak rite?

guys, how to track data usage, 3g watchdog doesn't seems to work.

3G is only needed when you need a wireless connection via mobile operator (i.e. Digi, Maxis, Celcom)
Be very aware not to activate your Wireless Connection if you did not sign up for unlimited internet package, you'll be crying when the bill comes.
Just use Wifi la....Its free.

Anyway, I'm a Legend user, but going to get a G5 soon for my gf.

Papago satellite issue is common. Even in Legend. Wonder if all these 'Smartphone' GPS are weak? Or Papago?

Anyway, the direction is not very accurate compared to my standalone Papago. It sometimes tend to SESAT jalan by itself.

it's can be compare since both are in different class but so far i never face any lag issue..my problem only the button is no LED / GPS suxx / no LED indication either the battery is high / low

i never test gps device with gps head to head before but my HTC with Mapking only 1-2 seconds slower than the actual driving speed
