ok guys..now i know y certain people get an error to lock the satellite...most probably...in my case...for the 1st time install the papago application then it will took about 5-10 min to lock it...then after lock and try to play the gps then after that i will exit the application, then i will also turn off the GPS...cuz i tink maybe it will make my battery bcome more fast to the low level..then i realize..that action make the GPS take a long time to lock when i open back the papago appilcation..supposedly, dont turn off the GPS..let the GPS open..juz close the papago application only when u wanna quick from the application...then after i didnt switch off anymore the GPS...then now it will lock really fast the satellite...and one ting..im really GLAD to have this phone ...bydway..is there anyone can provide the link to download the latest map of papago..thanx so much!!

now i want to buy a new hp because my phone keypad completely remove because i am heavy texter....
currently i use samsung sgh-e650...i buy it early 2007...

this g5 model really attracting me because it is in my budget and small....
because my hand small but i like a big keypad...i don't like typing using my nail...i typing with my right thumb only...

so this model virtual keypad it is small or big???
now i comparing with nokia 5530...

i need gps, wifi, document reader like word&pdf...

i read some review say this model lack in camera spec...
it is really poor or medium sharp??? how about the resolution???
for me if medium sharp is ok compare cmos 0.3 that i use right now...

and also i don't see any review about batery life time...
can u guy review about that???
i really need long batery life time at least 4 days...

nokia 5530 lack on battery when only can stay for 2 days for normal use
but have advantages in camera spec...

g5 have advantages in technologies...like capacitive touch screen and android os+600Mhz cpu...it really great combination that solve hang or lag problem for beginner smartphone and also cheap price...

i also read about g3...what u guys think when compare g3 and g5?
i read it have better spec in cam and also application...
it is truly will not sale in malaysia???

For me its either you wait for g3 or get g5 now, nokia using resistive touch screen..means it sux

Go to Contacts. Press Menu button > Get Friends. Add your Facebook account details & select your friends.

Go to Settings > Accounts & Sync to allow auto sync. I must tell you first when opening Activities tab under Contacts, your phone will be a little laggy when updating your friends' activities on FB. A neat feature nevertheless.

EDIT: I'm not sure about this but after rooting, my wifi connection is better.

Added on October 2, 2010, 10:39 amgo to...menu--settings--wireless and networks--mobile networks--access point names--select celcom 3G internet...change the name to Celcom 3G Internet--APN(celcom3g)--after that all the above listings u should leave it "none"--except MCC key in the number (502)--MNC(19)--authentication type(none)--APN type(internet) then click the far left button on yr phone to save.just click once...it will pop up a save icon...u are done in these section.

Then go back to APNs--choose Celcom MMS--Name(Celcom MMS)--APN(celcom3g)--leave all those things above (none)..except at the MMSC key in(http://mms.celcom.net.my)--MMS proxy(10.128.1.242)--MMS port(8080)--MCC(502)--MNC919)--authentication type(none)--APN type(mms)....save it then u are good to go...

For the one have GPS locking problem I have a temporarily solution.

1. Switch ur GPS on
2. Switch off ur phone with GPS on
3. Switch on ur phone and bravo

Added on October 2, 2010, 11:04 amFor this problem I think mostly is from your wireless router. You just have to change the wireless channel and try. For changing method It's hard to teach coz got many brand router outside and they are different setting on each router. I provide the most common method below :

1. Type ur router address (Address is different on each router ex: 192.168.1.1) in Internet Explorer or Firefox.
2. Find setting like wireless setting
3. Find the channel part and try change to 1 (Normally is channel 6)

Go to the contact profile. The one that you had imported via FB. Menu > Link contact and select his/her phone number in your sim. You can set default contact's name, phone number or e-mail using mark as default menu.

i'm very pleased with the sms. When we received sms, the message were all bulk up inside the senders name. That's very neat. Is it all smartphone like this, or just this phone?
