When you have done so much to the car, no use selling it
Like me, the new cars I can afford will be way way slower than mine yet I need to fork out downpayment and montly installments for it (still pay more than intended due to bank interest) Then you wanna upgrade need to spend again. So screw it, might as well just restore back the current car's chassis (well thats me ler, dunno about the rest of you guys) About used cars with MIVEC/turbo selling in the 15k to 30k range. Those also not sure the chassis is in good condition or not so the risk is there |

Yes, true that. I'm too thinking of going the same path as you. Maintaining the wear and tear parts, upgrade engine if necessary and later, redo chassis.
New car has monthly installment + services + maintaining parts while older cars minus the installment (that is if bought cash or fully paid). Plus annually cheaper insurance |

(n of coz only when i am afford. by buy the car in cash now gt abit regret nw becoz my mechanic told me that i will having headache the another 5 years time becoz of those collect tax authority )by renewing a 13 years old car, its worth! because i can feel the pleasure of driving it. when i need power thr come power. when i need to arrive a location safe n comfortable. it does! QUOTE(shinjite @ Nov 29 2010, 02:25 PM) When you have done so much to the car, no use selling it my very beginning plan is to get a MIVEC/turbo wira. but i worry later i bought a problematic MIVEC/turbo wira, then i mati liao.. as i mention above, i'm still a student. driving a original with some minor modify is sufficient for my needs. QUOTE(AhKoo @ Nov 29 2010, 03:57 PM) Full tank is subjective. The best way is to count by KM per Litre (KM/L)My full tank: ~RM70-75 @1.85 = 37.8 - 40.5 L I can go around 460-500 km In my 555 notebook, my average now is ~12.5 KM/L +/- 0.5 My RPM seldom goes >3k. Shift up around 2.5k. 1.5manual |
