cheaper roadtax(rm90 only.. y pay more?), and more economy(FC lower)..
1.8 is powerful 8 only slightly different wif 1.6..
u ask runner also cost u few hundreds d.. safe the money to get iridium plug n hks plug cables + drop in air filter.. n u will never regrets =)
take good care of ur engine then ur 1.6 will own a 1.8 normal spec..

ei, guys. i wan to ask about the absorber mounting.
i juz change for 3 months ago..
n the shop quote me rm80 for both side..
i change it during i change to adjustable absorber(becoz 1 side of the mounting broken d)..
feeling regret becoz rm80 for both sure is non-ori part...
after driving for 3 months long.. i realize that the mounting is kinda HARD
compare to ori 1...
when i accelerate, the mouting got sound on left hand 1...
when i turn my steering 45 degree and above, my right mounting make weird sound...
damn it!! really regret...

planning to change another new set of ori mounting soon..
any1 got lubang lunbang which shop got cheap ori mounting replacement?

i'm driving a 1.6 XLi auto wira made in year 97. its around 13 years old d,
i bought it 8 months ago, and i spend over rm7k just to renew my car..
including performance part and "CAR LEG" ( adjustable absorber, tyres, Tulang anjing, lower arm, etc...) so my total value spend on it is 20k ++
i'm satisfy with this car so far...
wan power, gt power, wan safe fuel... impossible..
lolz.. be4 i renew my car, my fc is around 6.7-7km/L..
and after spend some money, it achieve 9-10km/L ( RON 95 BHP). it is still consider high FC if compare to satria 1.3 and kancil..
however, my engine sounds abit too rough after my 2nd engine oil change..( Eneos 10w40 semi)
before that, i used BHP semi 10w40 engine oil...
i LOVE the performance man!! seriously... it satisfy my mad @ insane driving style.. however, the oil profile changed after around 4000 km drive..
n for the current oil..
ENeos Brand.. it's made my engine feel heavier 8 when my REV exceed 3rpm, i can feel the power too!! be4 that, BHP engine oil can feel the power after 2.5rpm..
so i conclude that, if wan better HP, go for BHP.
and here is my questions...
any1 of u who drive wira (especially 1.6) have the same problem wif the engin noise?
after start the car..
the engin is very quiet.. even when i stop the car, its very quiet too..
the irritating noise only happened when i step my pedal hard...
i saw some sound proof produce at the market, around rm50+- only, 8 i do not wish to lie to myself by adding those...
n i like music too.. i got an average music setup too..
i cant hear any noise out thr include my engine noise if i turn my music volume to16...
the bass produce by my woofer had covered everything..
however, as i mentioned be4.. i do not wish to lie to myself...
i wan a silent engine! how can i achieve it??
any ideas? my engine is strong and powerful...
if i can removed the unwanted noise~ it will be totally a great car to me

since my sis own a 1.5 wira..

since my engine is standard stock 1.6 SOHC, so i dare not say my car is FAST! but meet my requirement n if compare to 1.3 n 1.5..
its fast..

haha.. i drive with 40% heavy leg, and my wira is an auto, so with such fc..
its consider fine gua.. haha

haha.. i never expect to spend tat much..
i get a 2nd hand 1.6 at the price of 14k on the road.
n then i slowly change the part.
its really expensive to renew in such way..
i can get a waja d..

but dude, if ur car started to make noise here n thr, will u fix them?
i spend around 2-3k juz to make sure i got a pretty "car LEG".
new tyres and adjustable absorbar perform better than normal

i would like toi install turbo kit too..
but from my mechanic, he said it is quite costly to maintain..
since i am still a student.. i juz accept wat i have now..
i feel great to own a wira 1.6 at tis age..

actually my 7k include many... my car is 70% new!!! dynamo new, engine mounting new, horn new, lamp new, tyres new, absorbar new, spark new, spark cable new, sound system new, alarm new, centrel lock new, tulang anging new, lower arm new, air con all new etc...

all my fren saying that its not worth to renew in such way..
8 since tis is my 1`st car..
after i buy, then problems only occur slowly..
my roof staarted to have cancer n i think i need another 1k to change soon..
althought i speed quite lots of money in it..
7k can get another 2nd hand 1.5 wira.. 8 i do enjoy the ride nw...
n ya... i would like to share with u all try to get a WORK engineering drop in filter for ur injection type wira..
its safe fuel like mad... be4 6-7km/L, now 9-10++km/L after using that....

erm, i bought it at Eneos center n if not mistaken, i grab it at rm158..
i change it when i change my engine oil too..
i use enous semi 10w40 engine oil + work drop in filter to achieve such FC..
but this engine oil i feel heavier if compare to BHP semi 10w40..


but i believe only the filter already increase my FC...

but bear in mind, drop in filter nit some liquid to wash 1.. quite costly also= ="
n ya.. try to search at mudah.my.. around rm150 can get 1 there..

haha.. borch filter is juz a normal filter with high air resist..
u try remove ur air filter n drive..
u will knw the true POWER of ur car... haha..
but try at ur own rise,

to save fuel... u can change ur spark plug into iridium or platinum 1..
at the same time, it increase ur hp too..

or u can change ur spark cable too..
just my suggestions..
drive slowly and not over step ur pedal then ur fc should be always good

full tank is how much?
i normally will fill up my tank when there left only 1 level..
n normally i filled around rm60+- for the remaining.
n its around 32 litter, my best achieve on my FC is 318km with 32 litter.
if full tank i think should be around 400km.

i love my car but i wont wasted on it.. i only do the part i think its worth and really need. (n of coz only when i am afford. by buy the car in cash now gt abit regret nw becoz my mechanic told me that i will having headache the another 5 years time becoz of those collect tax authority )
by renewing a 13 years old car, its worth! because i can feel the pleasure of driving it. when i need power thr come power. when i need to arrive a location safe n comfortable. it does!

my very beginning plan is to get a MIVEC/turbo wira. but i worry later i bought a problematic MIVEC/turbo wira, then i mati liao.. as i mention above, i'm still a student. driving a original with some minor modify is sufficient for my needs.
=) i very agree with u becoz for now, v nonit worry about loan n downpayment at all.
i rather spend the money to re-condition my car..
i am great to choose wira 1.6anyway. its more solid than most of the car with the same price range =)

but my fren, since i am driving an auto, n 90% my RPM is more than 3k
so by doing manual calculations,
my fc rm55-rm65 can go for around 250-350km..
n my average in KM/L is around 9-10KM/L.




n i always pump bhp ron 95 as it gave me more rev for an auto car and always can feel the power

haha.. i gt the same case be4.. after installing some performance part... my Fc really drop from 6-8km/L to 9-10km/L..

but it is good to drive an auto nowadays since everywhr like to jam jam jam..

the weather nowadays is really WARM!!!
i tinted my car few month ago.. with the price of rm400++ too.. (name hypercool with 5 years warranty)
its working pretty well for my car..
i picked a greenish gold, it look cool and exactly match my car body colour..


but i am abit regret didnt tinted the front window with the same material at the side n back of my car..
the front window with 50% transparent only cost me around rm200..
its expensive n yet low quality. but lastime the shop TAUKEH told me tat if front tinted with the side materials, we will be caught by jpj.. but i saw fxcking lots of car who din obey the rules...

haha. let u knw wats my spec later.. forget d..
now at office, later wehen i'm home, i try to search the warranty card.. if nt mistaken is written thr..
