worst case scenario is tayar letup! your tyre still can last 6 months! i got mine punctured from the bottom, through the sidewall (cant tampal watsoever, change new one)... that tyre was only 1 week old!!!!!!! who is more 'pi**' off... tell me lo... vmad.gif

Of course get Wira, Kancil is small and feel like not safety  biggrin.gif

yes yes.. wira 1.6auto. FC is better! although FC cant compare with kancil. but wira have a very good aircon and more safety than kancil. and btw, we're in 'LYN PWC' right? biggrin.gif sure support wira!

hey...

Q1: wanna ask lah..is there any particular batch or year-made of wira that is problematic and that i shud stay away from if i'm buying a second hand wira?...

Q2: and..is it recommendable for me to buy a second hand wira with auto gear for city use?..

am currently considering between kancil and wira.. smile.gif pls advise me about the above 2 questions.
*
Q1: every car got own problem one la... since you buying 2nd hand one, by the time u buy, whatever problem that should occur would be changed by the previous owner d one... and even if there are a problematic batch, a careful owner's car would be better than a ignorant owner's car by the time u get it...

Q2: you asking to choose between Wira and Kancil in PWC abit obvious u'll get 1 answer only right?! so i would be diff and say go for kancil.. can park illegally anywhere you want... even on divider... thumbup.gif

Try take a picture of the tyre bulge and post here.

My friend had similiar problem on new set of tyre, but not aware of it, since the bulge is on the inside sidewall. The size is a bit like a small-deflated-karipap. Only found out when send to service. The tyre is brand new Continental at that time, used for about 3 months only. No choice, have to buy new one after found out.

In your case, is up to you, try not to drive >110km/h, keep it below 90km/h, no highway. City driving should be fine. If "letup" also, you won't be going fast. Anyway, it is better to change it. If accident, paralyse, etc. not worth the few hundred RM saved.

To save money or save life, it depends on you tongue.gif Don't haunt me, ok ? icon_rolleyes.gif

Tires are for your own safety. Don't want the worst case to happen, because you already know the problem but choose to ignore instead.

fastreader : For Wira, I don't think there's any particular problematic batch. Just get any, but the condition varies depending on the previous owner. Recommended to get 1.6A, fc way better than 1.3 and 1.5 since your concern is city use. The feeling is more comfortable and safer compared to Kancil, plus you can cruise up to 120-140 kmph without the feeling the car wants to fly biggrin.gif

Hi all sifu, would like to have some advice from u guys.

my wira fc is so terrible with city drive, rm72 full tank cant even reach 250km.I guess the problem is with the low power output, since i have to stop and go avtime in city drive. This, i would like to change my 4g13 block to 4g15 block+ piston while lightening my flywheel.

So anyone of u have done this modification here, mind to share?
Would like to hear some commend from all sifu here b4 i proceed.

That's bad. But IMO, I don't think changing to 4G15 will improve any since both 4G13/15 both pretty much poor in fc. Not sure about 4G91, but 92 has way better fc and 93, fc pretty much the same or slightly better, but more power brows.gif

Don't think so. Any batch will do for as long you check the condition first.

Lineage: Its normal loh. The oil will sure change its properties due to getting heated up. I think its fine as long sludges don't start forming.

Its normal for it to be black because when combustion happen in the engine, carbon is produced as a by-product. These carbon is then absorbed by the oil. The carbon will be disposed of during oil change.

I think if you check your engine oil (especially those mineral type) a week after oil change, its black liao.

When you got some solid or undissolved "milk powder", I think you really need an oil change sweat.gif I went over 4k km before for my oil change, when the mechanic release the stopper below, no oil came out. He had to cucuk the hole a bit then my car started to "lao sai".

Oh..I see..Using semi syn engine oil..besides good performance, the oil will clean the engine as well right?

Should la by removing carbon deposits. Most oil got some additives that will help to clean up the engine also. Another reason why its black so fast is there is some leftover old oil when you did your oil change. Its better for the oil to be black imho, at least you know that the oil is absorbing the carbon tongue.gif.

Hmmm...how often do you need to change bush btw? I just changed mine (a lot, I counted more than 10 bush at different places). Want to know so that I wont get kelentong next time...

Hmmm...I'm still using mineral oil, is it recommended to change to semi-syn oil? Mine is a 1.6 4g92. FC abt 8.6km/1L

Hi,
I'm driving wira 1.6,sometime it's very hard for me to shift to first gear, when change from 1st gear to 2nd gear also not very smooth. My mechanic suggest me to change the whole clutch since it's not worth when changing part that already spoiled? any suggestion? Do anyone know what is the price to change the whole clutch for 1.6? thanks ya
