Every morning, the car is like haven't wake up, I engage D, it won't move until I press pedal, it move but not smooth..

Then when it speed up until around 40km/h, it will SUDDENLY like engage N itself(mean like tak masuk gear), the engine sound is loud just same as we put N and press pedal..

After 3 sec like that, it move like normal..The first time at the morning reach 40km/h is the loudest among the day..

So what cause the problem? I suspect is the gear box, but wanted to know any other part causing the problem..I don't wish after change the gearbox, but is not the gearbox problem..

use correct ATF oil.. (D-III) for wira auto..

warm up ur car properly bfore u start ur journey..if need to drive while engine 'still cold'.. then drive slowly..and OFF the air-con..

By the way, I search through the web..I don't see any Total ATF suit my GB..Because Wira 1.5 GB is use SP3 instead of DEXRON III..

usually morning i let my car warm up first before i go. and baru i on my air-cond after 3km drive. and my engine was so smooth eventhough it was a 8 years car. brows.gif (just only my suggestions la, i felt that my engine won't treat me bad) icon_rolleyes.gif

In normal KL condition, I don't warm up in the morning. Crank and start, let it idle for 10 sec while pull seat belt, adjust position a bit, look left, look right, then engage first gear and slowly move. RPM not exceed 2k, shift up, easy on the accelerator and brake, just let it roll for the next few hundred metres. By that time, the temperature gauge would have go up till normal (about half). For the next 5-10 minutes, also no rev high. Just 2.5k-3k, shift up.

Actually need to warm up the car every morning or not aa? I've personally did that last time for a while but then heard many people said that the later generation cars do not need to be warmed up every morning, it will just be fuel wasting.. Since then, I never really bother warming up my car anymore... any feedback ? hmm.gif

Is no harm and if u did'nt rush in the morning is ok to warm up a bit...unless dn rev to high or speed until u tink ur car "wake up" enough..

Well gone through sm reading yup newer gen engine doesn't need warmed up..seems confuse nia..is better to warm hot a bit before hit the pedal..(hate the un-smoothed gear changing-mine auto)
