since celcom has best coverage for 3G...but "lousy" 3G smartphone... wat's the point?? Previously , i'm celcom user...now switch to DiGi...because of IP4 & poor 3G coverage in my area.(skudai, Tmn Universiti)

celcom claimed that my area under 3G coverage..but the speed damn slow.. tested 300kbps (with D98 3.6Mbps package) ..Zzz...speed nvr reach 1Mbps..In fact not even 10% of 3.6Mbps..LOLZz...

Now swithced to DiGi. Although DiGi just announced my area under 3G coverage 3 months ago. But the speed definately better than celcom.. tested 600kbps..hiahZz..

I know 3G signal ..depends on the area. Celcom 3G speed sux...Celcom customer service... more worst..impolite & impatient.. Takes 2 months to claim my warranty, during this 2 months visited celcom center 5-7 times... they'll answered u" Dunno.. wait.. will call u back"... So i jus say Goodbye to celcom..say Hi to DiGi... So for those who still waitin celcom launchin their IP4...i might say it takes a long long wait...!! Good Luck..!! doh.gif

hmm... i live in skudai too, TUTA area. celcom 3g coverage & speed is excellent. i was studying at utm 2years ago & my celcom broadband works perfectly at all the time.

well, i guess something must goes wrong...ur house surrounded by a tall building? why dont you call to celcom cs and complain?

as for their CS, i hve few bad experience with them as well, most of them are quite "blur2" type. i believe they r fresh grad who just start working..and being a CS is their 1st job...compred to telco M&D which is very helpful & efficient..

but calling celcom CS (1111) is Free...dont complain so much la.... tongue.gif

eh....when i first apply the celcom D98(last year) ..the speed was acceptable but not really fast...!! startin this year 3G line was so slow...i can't even load a simple page/takes few sec...arghHhh....so i was like payin RM98/month for nothing in 6 months..Until June ,apple launched ip4 & digi has 3g coverage at my area. Then i decide to switch to digi..!!!l...lolZzz....Finally........ rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Perhaps, Tmn Universiti area have too many celcom bb users..tat's why the line so slow...LOLZz....I never call to celcom cs to complain...jus head down to celcom center & show my "FxxkXX" face...!!!! drool.gif drool.gif

I am officially switched to Celcom.. ported my hotlink number to Celcom
Been using Digi for 3 weeks, decided to cancel as the coverage is DAMN BAD!

But, Celcom also kind of hopeless. Made a call to 1111 and the voice is not very clear. never had this problem while i'm using maxis!
and the staff told me I cannot sign up the lowest broadband package. They can only sign up RM68 and RM98 package. WTF! they asked me to go those outlet to sign up the RM38 package.

How do I totally cut the usage of data line for my Celcom prepaid? Has anyone ever called Celcom CS and asked them to totally block data usage? I'm using my iPhone 3G only as a second phone and never have I intended in using GPRS or EDGE or 3G with this phone.

But the usual 'credit keeps getting deducted without notice' problem when using prepaid sim with smartphones has started to affect me so I really want the option of using data line with my prepaid simcard to be cut off totally.

FYI, I did call Celcom CS this morning and told them what I want and my iPhone version (eg 2G or 3G or 3GS) and they said to call again on a different number as it will require me to do some settings on my iPhone 3G. Legit much? Or just your typical CS mumbo jumbo? The CS operator did have an INDIAN Indian accent - outsourced???

Thanks.

A lot of ppl switch to maxis & digi for the iphone4. I'd go both center, the place so busy ppl looking for the phone. Celcom should move faster before losing company profit because of iphone4 population increase. Celcom working in slow progress. Target user ntah pape.. sweat.gif
Btw..Just contact to my fren celcom staff, if not mistaken they said that maybe celcom may launch iphone4 package within december 2010. Because this month celcom launch blackberry touch so they cannot offer both phone within the same month. It shud be last 3month launch iphone4. Progress lmbt giler..da basi bru nk launch. shakehead.gif
