Hi everyone, I'm going to buy my white ip4 at bangsar this saturday. Could I have some advices on what to check with the phone before leaving the bluecube, i.e. speaker, camera, video sound (as experienced by one of the victims).... and what else? Anyone can make a checklist for me pleaseee? I don't want to have a faulty phone and end up not getting a replacement afterwards or things like that.

and I think this would help others who want to buy new iphones too, yes?

anyone, PLEASEEE. thanks!! blush.gif blush.gif

It's sensorS actually. Prox (test by calling someone and covering the part just above the ear speaker with your hand. Screen should turn off) and ambient light (test by putting iphone into full brightness with auto on and place it under the table or where it's dark. Brightness should turn down).

Check that and snap some pics and take video. That should be ok.

Even my iPhone 4 is my second actually. The day I bought from Maxis TTDI, my first unit had a tiny scratch on the metal ring (the antenna), so I asked for a new unit. The nice guy quickly opened a brand new box for me.

I was lucky, as my phone was already activated lol. Plus the fact I was buying outright and you can say I was actually VERY lucky to have them help me like that at all.

Thanks for the info Eiraku!! smile.gif

I will definitely do the testings.

You were realllllly lucky eh! just a tiny scratch then you can get a new one?? but true, for Maxis, can easily get a replacement without much trouble (my mom and some friends of mine also got immediate replacements from Maxis for faulty iphone4 too), which I think is better than digi? not sure about Celcom though. hopefully celcom is as good.

btw, i'm a Maxis user (i lost my maxis iphone4 unit). my friend is going to get the Celcom plan, and i'm getting the phone. icon_rolleyes.gif

can celcom trace if whether the ip4 is jailbroken or not?
i mean after we restore it back to normal before claiming the warranty because i know jailbreaking will void the warranty..
if they can trace it somehow..
then i'll not jailbreak my brother's celcom ip4 la..not until he finished the warranty at least
so does anyone know whether they can or cannot trace it? yawn.gif

I asked bout that last week, but they already said that the plan is together with the iphone. You cannot get the plan w/o the iPhone.

Im using 1+5 plan.. im under the principle so it would be RM15 commitment fees.. i also add RM28 for their mlite broadband.. making a total of RM43

so this is the cheapest plan that u can make use of the line n data plan..(if ur not buying new iphone where their plans are more value)
