I'm using Celcom with Exec 250 plan right now. If I were to buy an Iphone 4 outright from EMachines (that comes with the Hotlink prepaid card), would I be able to plug in my Celcom sim card (once I change to microsim) into the Iphone 4 and use it with no problems?

definitely bro...

wah! very good news since i am celcom user smile.gif

since celcom release micro sim already so it's now time for me to wait for iphone 4 white smile.gif

on side note, iphone 4 is getting dirt cheap compare to earlier time when no official release in malaysia, someone import it and sell it here in lowyat for almost rm5k.. and some so-called "earlier adopter" bought it.. must be really envy now cos have to pay insane price just to be earlier adopter LOL

Slickz, I know ur issue resolved. I think the reception just disable ur call fwding fr the server end. Do ur miss calls still go to voicemails? Normally it won't if call fwding disabled. Celcom pol tell me they can disable 4 me but need to fill up form. Hmmm.

hello i'm new here. im a proud celcom user for almost 2 years. i was once maxis hotlink prepaid user. when i started working i wanted a postpaid line and celcom exec50 plan attracted me to give it a try on celcom and i have no complain and regret ever since. i bought an iphone 4 bout a month ago and the simcard had to be cut. 'fortunetely' not too long after that celcom announced that they are introducing the microsim for ipad/iphone user. but i didn't bother about the news at all since my phone was working normally. recently i upgraded my celcom exec50 to p98 plan under the company im working with. i went to shah alam seksyen 9 celcom branch to register, and requested for microsim which they produced it without question. i read few posts saying that celcom delayed the microsim till 15/10/10 to be honest i already got mine since 13/10/10 and smells like something funny isn't it? anyway, before this i used celcom exec50+basic data package which for me suits me well. ohh i love it and celcom to me have the best coverage for call and frankly speaking the data speed is damn good! even if i go to 'hulu' have the 3G signal. im sure maxis/digi don't have it. they might be proud to have launched their iphone 4 and celcom haven't. but they can't be proud of type of speed they provide when their user go outside of the urban area. hehe. anyway i have something to share here

good info for celcom user that want to set up their iphone's mms and also tethering please follow this link for the settings:

http://docgadget.blogspot.com/2010/06/how-...hering-for.html

i did few searches and even follow some other steps provided by other person from this forum which in the end was unsuccessful. this link that finally help me find out the solution, and please thank the blogger for sharing such very useful info for celcom iphone user. bare in mind im not the blogger

Download using the App Store from yr iPhone or iTunes.
But you need to create an iTune account first.
