in USA, only AT&T & T-mobile have GSM service... n T-mobile is too small to be a decent partner.

also in Malaysia, its illegal to lock a cellphone to any carrier, so telco have to compete via plans or coverage, not device lock-in.

How fast will Celcom offer iPhone 4 to the corporate deal?

tipu la. I used iPhone3g for 2 years on Celcom. everything worked just fine, even tethering

What i mean was normally for a new Celcom BB, how fast they offer to corporate, just hope it will be the same to IP4.

I did hear about Celcom bringing the iPhones in but October - hmm.. that's pretty soon. My source tells me it's December but ah well, no point speculating. Let's just wait for the announcement and discuss when it's made public

Loyal customers aren't going to jump in the bandwagon simply because of iPhone4. Some people can afford to wait because they have the patience to do so. Some don't even care about the iPhone4.

Do you see Celcom went bankrupt when the iPhone3GS was released by Maxis/Digi?

Celcom will not bankrupt because of iPhone. Competition between telcos always benefit customers like us. Hopefully celcom can provide cheaper & better iPhone plan/package.

don't expect cheaper... Celcom's plans r usually same or more expensive than Maxis.
better is possible... RM99 basic plan? they do have the widest 3G coverage...

Ahh, good to know that Celcom is finally joining the bandwagon.

This is definitely good for us, consumers.

Now if only we have the same kind of competition for Internet Service Provider.

Perhaps Celcom can have the best of both maxis and Digi.

Late comer may have lost their 1st mover advantage but their can price the plan to beat maxis n digi in later stage.

keep dreaming. Celcom will charge like Maxis n provide a wider coverage.
Celcom's customers are the hardest to switch out, cos they got good coverage... lower price will not always get people to switch.

what is a better plan? I would like a RM88 plan, unlimited data n RM50 for calls. but no telco in Malaysia has this kind of plan.

i dont know this.. but i read it on the newspaper lol..last month i think.. then how come me and him read the same thing.. i know la celcom can be used on 3g and 3gs .. u think i dont know meh?

why do u think celcom suddenly want to provide IP4? this is because IP4 wave lol.. most of their loyal customer (including me and some of my colleague) will lompat to other provider.. who want to stick to Nokia and etc FOREVER..or you can buy IP4 SG set and used on your CELCOM (WIDEST COVERAGE) without Data Plan whatsoever.

i agree that celcom could make the competition stiffer, already digi is hyping up the launch and maxis is doing it this week
