getting more and more confusing.. prebook and now comes online booking..

pre book ---> during the launching @ garden? or anyone that walks into MC to book the sets?

i'm saying about the prebook, where ONLINE booking, b4 iphone4 lauch at the garden..
my collect section should be on 25th sept 6-10pm..but there is ppl on 25th sep 2-6pm section says tat, maxis sms those on 6-10pm section, ask them collect on maxis outlet..
but i dunno how they collect at maxis outlet..

i took half day leave today went hunting for iphone in penang...no luck! each center kept saying that they are out of stock! Really want an iphone now! hehehe! cannot tahan oredi!

Correct me if i'm wrong, from my understanding is if you walk-in during the launch i.e 26th/27th Sept you can prebook the Iphones. Because my friend went to MC Pavilion and pre-book her iphone.
So @mugenz you definitely can pre-book during the launch/pre-launch of the iphones during that period.I dont know when they stopped taking the pre-booking.

Safe bet is you go to The Gardens there and ask the staff,which MC you should collect your iphone.
Btw did Maxis sms you to inform for the item availability?

They didn't send any msg? prolly your item is not available yet or they totally forgotten about it.

Try to go smaller centre like the one in cheras or selayang and go there early

the last time i heard tht everyone start queing at KLCC since 7am

Hmm, The guy in MC Gardens just called me, they are having worldwide restock problem / iphone shortage (too sad to hear clearly)
So he said next Monday or Tuesday.

What about other stores ?

i think those stock shortage maybe limited kl area only, cause today around 11am something i just walk into maxis centre at batu pahat mall and come out with a 16gb iphone, no queing no nothing, just got a customer infront of me signing up for iphone too. got another customer behind me can only get the 32gb version. the whole process took about 30-45minutes due to thier billing system slow.
i don't know, maybe i got good luck, first i go there i thought sure no stock and just ask for fun only

So mean other than pre-book during launching or walk in early in the morning, no other way can get or book it now?

I see... mean they not accepting any order by now. Mean go there also no use.

What I was told is they are not even entertaining walk in anymore..

By which center? This whole process is so unclear for all the customers that interested
purchasing the phone if they missed the pre-booking period.

You can try your luck by walk in to the MC because that's what i've been told by the staff at the Gardens.
You have to gamble a bit(from my point of view by the statement from the MC staffs).

Come in early morning to queue up and cross your fingers that you will be in the group to purchase the phone from the quota
allocation on that day.

come to batu pahat johor...
