IMO, just don't bother and buy a Sg set. I gave up after being told by the Maxis CS that The Gardens had stock left. Living in Cheras, I drove all the bleeding way to Mid Valley to find out that stock had been sold out since 5pm lol. I'd been going every possible moment to every possible Maxis centre.

If Digi had 12 month-plans, I'd switch, but since they don't, I'm getting my SG set from Lowyat today.

Anyways.. Maxis is a big BS. Always telling customer no stock when in the store room got more stock than you can imagine!
Just trying to give the illusion that this thing is a hot cake... but in the end the customers treated like crap.
This morning say only 20 people can get.. but one person get get 2 or 3 also NO PROBLEM. (?!?).. doesn't make sense...

Good luck for those who are still trying.. I'd say the best bet is go Gardens Maxis and be the first 10 (to be safe) and line up in the morning.
Screw the "NO STOCK"... no such thing as "no stock"... so fed up of hearing this. Glad I got the phones I wanted so now I don't have to bother anymore.

I've finally managed to get 1 unit of 16gb for myself and another unit of 32gb for my fiancee from KLCC MC on last saturday.

This is my personal experience on getting iphone without waiting long. On last friday, I went to MC after work, and queued up at the Iphone counter. It only had 2 people ahead of me. At that time, I'd already expect that no stock is available, and this was exactly what I overheard when the staff told that 2 ppl ahead of me. So, when it was my turn, same story went for me. Then I asked the staff if I could pre-book the phones and collect it on the next day morning, and I was holding the Iphone checklist with me. Once she saw the checklist on my hand, she said OK! She then helped me filling out the form and verifying my existing contract details. Once verified, she told me to come on the next day morning, and went for her directly or get a queue ticket to collect the phones directly.

On the next day morning, as what I've been told, I reached there at 9am then got a queue ticket with just 1 person ahead of me. Everything was so smooth and fast, I got my phones within 1/2 hour then walked out from MC after that.

When I reached there, the queue in Iphone counter was like more than 40 ppl, and all I heard was "out of stock, and please come back the next day morning". When I was collecting the phone, I overheard a guy next to my counter, he actually arrived MC at 4am, and during that time, there was already 2 ppl queuing up ahead of him. OMG!! this was unbelievable.

Luckily, with my way, I wasted no more than 1 hour within 2 days to get 2 units of iphones. Perhaps, anyone who intends to buy can follow my way. I hope this info is beneficial to everyone here.

Latest info from maxis. For those who is hunting for the iPhone 4, there'll be new stocks coming in for everyone. The reason why it's so hard to get one is due to clearing the Pre-booked customers list. 2 weeks from now guys... No more hunting.

ya, i do made a booking for 25th 6-10pm section.but i saw there is alot ppl had been told tat, collect at the GARDEN on the next day or any outlet. so, i didnt go queue up for it, till now..
my booking number still available to collect??

i'm saying about the prebook, where ONLINE booking, b4 iphone4 lauch at the garden..
my collect section should be on 25th sept 6-10pm..but there is ppl on 25th sep 2-6pm section says tat, maxis sms those on 6-10pm section, ask them collect on maxis outlet..
but i dunno how they collect at maxis outlet..

nop..they didnt send any msg to me..i think i will try my luck at the garden..^^
