AOSP rom users! Be sure to check out Youlu Address Book, it has become a straight away default dialer for me once installed this morning. Very very clean interface! IMO, its a challenge to the htc dialer...

Hi, My HTC Desire cannot detect any satellite for GPS, could this be a damage in the software or the hardware?...

I've change the rom version and radio but still doesn't make any difference. What are the chances that the hardware is dead?...

I've did Factory Reset for many times...

is it expensive the replace it?...roughly how much it cost?....
is there any GPS driver or some files that might be missing while I updated the rom myself??

I never tested the GPS function when it is newly bought. I tested it only after I updated the Android version from 2.1 to 2.2.

For your info, I've used Papago X5, GPS test, and many other apps to search for satellite but all fail, even after being outdoors for a long time...my fren's Galaxy S detects the satellite in just a few seconds....any help here?....HTC is gonna charge me a bomb for repairing it...coz my warranty sudah void(please dun ask why)..

None of those tricks works....haizzzzz...dunno wat to do ed.... suspect is hardware faulty ed... I downgraded to 2.1 still no difference.....take out battery put it back oso same.... the hardware like just dead....

I've check the satellite option... if send to HTC centre...agak_agak will cause how much? If just to fix gps?

i've encountered a few problems using j-style rom...
1.when i access the dialer,i get FC...same also when i try to access my contacts...
2.my sms and calendar entry hasnt been restored...

it's sometime I click back or home.. it turns to the HTC logo & my home screen start loading like reboot.. anything happening? it's function well nothing wrong with it after all.. just wants to know what happen on my desire.. & this time I click back.. it goes home screen & my wallpaper turn back to the bubbles wallpaper.. stock wallie.. & i trying to set back my HD rare black wallpaper but it doesn't work.. how & what should I do? 

Is there any way to get a "separate" A2SD+ to install into the HTC Sense?

Or A2SD+ only comes with custome ROM and no other way to put it into HTC Sense?

Yea I have done rooting and S-off on my Desire with stock Sense ROM.. Does that mean it would automatically has the A2SD+ capabilities? Eg: using Ext2 partition, Dalvik cache on SD card etc?

i've read somewhere mentioning about widget...its better to let it reside on your phone memory because if you move it to sd it will create problem when you mount to pc...not all apps are recommended to move to sd...

is there such widget where i can set my frequent called/sms contacts...???
