Swype is not free on Market.

MIUI ROM definitely can read chinese but does not comes with Chinese keypad, you can install Google Pinyin from market as an alternative.

There are many versions of MIUI ROM outhere, I am refering to MIUI 10.15 (Eevek version) on the above.

Which version were you flashing? Try 10.15 (eevek version), much more stable which I flashed and use it for 3 days and had no problem at all.

Download any termulator from Market, for example http://www.appbrain.com/app/android-termin...pal.androidterm

You need to key in few commands (as per instruction given) to activate its A2SD+, if you dont plan to use this A2SD+, skip this step.

MIUI is a very nice ROM indeed, if you can leave without Sense

I suspect your A2SD+ is not working properly, AuraxTSense and MIUI with A2SD+ will have ard 130MB on internal during 1st boot.

Flashed AuraxTSense8.0 yesterday, noticed that the video 720p recording is a bit laggy and the video cant be played on my pc

USB tethering and WIFI hotspot is not stable yet, so far cant it connect to my pc.

Yea me too, Im using both MyBackupPro and Titanium BackUp as my backup tools whenever flashing a new ROM:
1) MyBackUpPro - Preferable tools to backup Contacts, Call Logs, SMS, MMS, System Settings etc
2) TitaniumBackUp - Good for backup user apps + data, there is options (Paid version) to batch backup and restore, very convenient

Just flashed SuperVillain, been with AuraxTSense 7.6.1 > 8.0, due to some bugs noted on AuraxTSense8.0 now moved to SuperVillain1.0.

I copied the latest LauncherPro Plus apk into the flash-able ROM zip file, successfully by-passed the LauncherPro expiration page which I faced on SuperVillain ROM previously.

AuraxTSense8.0 is still buggy, I used it for a day and now moved to SuperVillain1.0, rock stable and fast (With radio 32.44)

Morning peeps

For those on AuraxTSense8.0, below are some noticeable "bug" with radio tested on 32.49 and 32.44 on my Desire (Im not sure if these happens to you or just me)
- Video recording on 720p is laggy
- Flash light during video recording cant switch off (U can only switch on/off before/after the video recording)
- Camera shutter sound cannot switch off
- Poor data connection signal. Most of the time I only get Edge, even at places where I normally get H on AuraxTSense7.6 and SuperVillain)
- Somehow I did not manage to connect WIFI hotspot and tethering

Used AuraxTSense8.0 for 2 day and moved to SuperVillain, all the above does not happen on this ROM.

It is a good ROM indeed if you can live without Sense

If you are already on Android 2.2 and have moved whatever apps that can be moved to SD, that is it (Since you dont want to go to dark side)

Move to dark side lo, can flash back to original ROM if you need to claim warranty
And FYI, synchronization does not work when internal memory lower than 13MB.

SuperVillain has all the Sense apps but not its widgets. For example, it still contains Friendstream apps but you will not able to use it as widgets.

You will hardly run into low memory for all custom ROMs that have A2SD+ feature (SuperVillain is one of those ROMs), I had once 150++ apps installed and still have 30MB left on internal memory. (With ext partition of 1GB)

Rooted only without custom ROM?
Go and flash a custom ROM with A2SD+, you will then have all apps automatically installed on SD.

Correction, you still get Sense apps but not Sense widgets and Sense UI only
