i had a desire and i think it has gone bricked when i left it in my drawer for abt 2 weeks. the batterry flatted and when i try to switch it on again, it hand on the first screen…
anyone hav any idea on how to fix that?

I just want to share something with you guys how unrooted back your desire to original ROM, previously i did rooted my desire to try LeeDroid 2.1a, its works fine and I'm happy with it. It just that, now i want to going back to the stock ROM and i tried so few things but it doesn't work. Finally, i have work it out all right to unrooted back my desire.

Here's the thing i did. Step by step.

1. Download stock rom, i used Eclair 2.1 Stock ROM :
RUU_Bravo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.19.707.7_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126179_signed

You can find it in xda-developers.

2. double click stock ROM you just downloaded.
3. Follow the instruction as you open the ROM.
4. Restart desire and follow setup wizard till finished.
5. Check your software version. make sure it version 2.1
6. Update your ROM to 2.2 using OTA.
7. Follow the wizard again and finish.

I hope my simple tutorial will benefit the others if necessary.

u can just force apps to move to sd without rooting your phone..its quite easy anyway.. just go to this website and follow the instructions there..

Added on October 1, 2010, 9:25 amwhat do you think of google maps turn by turn navigation? i just use it yesterday and it works like a charm..btw..im in kl..im using 1.5gb maxis data plan..so my main concerned about the data charge..does using the maps to navigate will affect my data plan?

Guys, I have my Data connection off most of the time unless I need it. When someone send me MMS I received it but it say error downloading (ofcos), when i switch on my Data connection it does not download, click the MMS there is no option for me to download also. Anyone pls? 

Have you successfully fetched any MMS before while your data connection is on?

What's your APN setting for MMS? (the one in the first post works for me)

@bryan, usually the mms will come in regardless or you have data on or off
same concept with normal phone where you cant switch it on or off

sometimes the mms will have problem receiving
i just ignore or even delete it coz it's too annoying

Erm i have a problem. I just flashed AuraxTsense 7.7. Everything seemed to go well..i restored everything using Titanium Backup. But when I restart my phone, all my widgets are gone, except the original HTC Sense widgets. There are still at my app list, but no longer at the widget list. I tried using TB to restore everything again, but the same thing happened once i reboot.

Am i missing anything??

So far so good, fast, responsive and interesting new style on widgets - seems like most of the bugs in 7.7 got fixed, gonna be my long term ROM unless there's something revolutionary

Hey guys! I have a problem and i need help

I've rooted my phone earlier, and hearing that there were OTA 2.2 updates ready to be downloaded, i unrooted it and update with the OTA 2.2 update and now my maxis 3G is not working! Even when I switch the mobile network on, nothing works at all..what do i do now??

Download MIUI ROM and the English pack from HERE

1) Flash the ROM first with full wipe as this is ur first MIUI flash
2) Reboot to MIUI which will be in chinese
3) Flash again the English pack

If you are coming from Sense or Vanilla ROMs, i guarantee MIUI will be a "refreshing" encounter!

hmm.. just flash 7.8.1 with 32.47 radio..

realize 1 thing, plug in to computer using usb cable, computer cant detect my desire anymore..

how to fix it?
