QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Oct 19 2010, 11:22 PM) I've never seen Sir Alex so gutted about a player... Oh why Rooney.......... he was like a father figure for you. Even Ronaldo thought as well... never made a fuss, stated his intentions clearly wants to move and at the same time respected united most of all. |

I feel surprise and shock with Fergie saying Rooney is going to leave.
I'm not too happy with Rooney's decision. In fact, I feel angry... If he want to leave, just leave. No problem for Manchester United. |

QUOTE(GIGGS_11 @ Oct 19 2010, 11:24 PM) Losing Rooney is not a big deal honestly... he's been anonymous this season. Just because he's been anonymous this season(not even BPL games) doesnt mean it's not a big deal..He was THE player last season...I'm just saddened by how the things panned out..Just few months ago, March specifically, he wanted a life contract, then August he wants out...how can any United fan not be gutted with thatLucky that SAF had bring in some backup like Hernandez and Macheda.... maybe Bebe can turn out great. What worry me is we can't squeeze the max out of Rooney's transfer fee. Player comes and goes... Man Utd will rise again. Well, as long as Giggs still in the team... i dont care who's leaving hahaha |

QUOTE(zwanvedder @ Oct 19 2010, 11:25 PM) why Saf disclosed all this...?it would surely affect our team morale now, why dont just keep silent ... There must be a genuine reason.... He's never done this.. Even during his rows with Becks, Stam, Ruud, Keano, Kanchelskis.... I sense that he is trying to advise Wayne in a way to think again before leaving.... Sir Alex was asked if the door is still open for Rooney, he instantly said "of course"... I dunno.. maybe it's a lost hope... I don't want to hope too much. But what I hope is, is that we are able to move on properly.. this club is based on tradition as what Sir Alex said.. even during Sir Matt's day. No player is bigger than the club. Period. QUOTE(boxsystem @ Oct 19 2010, 11:10 PM) FUUUUUUUUUU!! This will generate more muppets! after so many years of nurturing, i'm sure SAF will be hurt, not to mention the supporters as wellBeen hearing the rumors quite a lot lately .. huhu. Watching the video on SAF admitting Wayne wanted out, making me sad. I pity the old man. Disappointment is written all over his face. Especially when the part he was taking a pause .. dayummmm!! QUOTE(sunnyK @ Oct 19 2010, 11:11 PM) nothing shock no more in today's football . players today are like mercenary with very little loyalty to the club is all about money nowadays, they were blindfolded by cash the aftershock from this , rooney will join either city or chelsea , both are our hardest competitor . although he may leave for barca or real or italy bigger club , he is best suited to play in england or there could be bigger shocks or syiok waiting , after Rooney made his statement , which we can expect soon . SAF really made a blinder and made things really difficult for rooney from now on . the old man is clearly hurt i guess loyalty is worthless right now if he want to leave, let him leave, SAF had did his part of job, the end will be Rooney decision no point keeping a player without a heart playing for the club, oh well i just hope all of this is rumour but in fact is not 150k per week is top earner among all Man Utd player, did he expect for 300k per week? geezzzzz |

I think i should leave now... Been sitting here for the past 2 hours refreshing stuff and talking to people about the decision.
Really gutted that i was so wrong about the player who i thought was gonna be a life-long player and legend here at Manchester United. Right now im just really gutted and angry at Rooney. Maybe tomorrow or in a couple of days ill accept his decision and be thankful for all his contributions. Even saying this feels so weird, cant imagine seeing Rooney in another jersey |

QUOTE(mhyug @ Oct 19 2010, 11:24 PM) well any thing can happen between now and january.as who plays or not is up to the gaffer to decide.the club comes first, 3 pts in a match comes first. Yeah. The players, the club, everyone must now rally around SAF. Let's hope they fight back and show a fighting performance in the weeks ahead. 3 points at a time. 3 points. QUOTE(mhyug @ Oct 19 2010, 11:25 PM) Oh man ... those were the days ....QUOTE(boxsystem @ Oct 19 2010, 11:26 PM) Precisely. SAF said it clearly. The fans were chanting "Rooney, Rooney" it was affecting the players. There's too much crap going around, it was better to clear the air. |

But it is very strange... Sir alex openly admitting this while the footnall season still is still going on....
I sense that Sir Alex wants Rooney to stay, more than Rooney wanting to leave. I dunno, why the hell is Wayne doing this. Must be a reason.. he must be upset for something... But again, it is sad seeing how gutted Sir Alex was.. |

QUOTE(zwanvedder @ Oct 19 2010, 11:25 PM) why Saf disclosed all this...?it would surely affect our team morale now, why dont just keep silent ... if you watched MUTV's interview with SAF, you could see him saying that after 60++ minutes against west brom, the fans were chanting rooney rooney and this was not needed because it builds extra pressure towards the team..this was clearly the last resort measure taken to make it clear to the fans that rooney does not want to be here with us. and yes, i noticed he was teary for that 9minutes This post has been edited by syarz: Oct 19 2010, 11:40 PM |
